Cazoo becomes headline sponsor of Welsh Rugby Union

Cazoo, the UK’s leading online car retailer, which makes buying your next car as simple and seamless as purchasing any other product online today, has announced a multi-year partnership to become the main shirt sponsor of Welsh Rugby Union beginning in July 2021.

The Cazoo brand will feature on the men’s and women’s pathway and senior jerseys, shorts and training gear with extensive branding at Principality Stadium, as the men’s team defend their 28th Six Nations title and seek to win back-to-back titles for only the second time since the 1970s.

A new kit featuring the Cazoo logo will be launched this autumn but the existing men’s kit will feature Cazoo branding during the games this summer against Canada and Argentina. The Wales women’s team will wear the new Cazoo branded kit starting from the 2022 Six Nations tournament.

This latest deal cements Cazoo’s position as one of the UK’s most active sports sponsors across football (Everton, Aston Villa & the EFL), cricket (The Hundred), rugby (2021 Rugby League World Cup & Welsh Rugby Union), horseracing (Epsom Derby & St Leger) and snooker (World Snooker Tour).

Cazoo is pioneering the shift to online car buying and since being founded in 2018, has sold over 25,000 cars to consumers across the UK who have embraced the selection, transparency and convenience of buying quality used cars entirely online.
