We buy only the best used cars and we lovingly recondition every single one to the highest standards. We deliver your car in as little as 72 hours and give you up to 7 days to get to know your Cazoo car and if you’re not completely happy with it, we’ll collect it for free.

We provide better selection, value, quality and convenience to give you total peace of mind when buying a used car. We think you should be able to simply and seamlessly purchase a used car entirely online much like buying any other product today.

Alex Chesterman OBE, Founder & CEO

Alex is one of the UK's leading digital entrepreneurs and has spent the last twenty years using technology to improve sub-optimal consumer experiences. In 2003, he co-founded LoveFilm which transformed the DVD rental market in the UK. In 2008, he founded Zoopla which delivered greater transparency and efficiency to the property market. Alex founded Cazoo to make car buying as simple as buying any other product online today.

Alex Gersh, Chief Financial Officer

Alex spent six years as CFO of FTSE 100-listed Paddy Power Betfair Plc where he oversaw the merger of two of the fastest-growing online betting operators in the world and guided the business through its subsequent transformation resulting in annual revenues of over £1.5bn. Prior to this Alex was Chief Financial Officer of then NASDAQ-listed NDS Group and his earlier career was spent at as CFO of BT Cellnet and at Ernst & Young.

Jonathan Howell, Chief Technology Officer

Jonathan joined Cazoo from MADE.com where he spent five years as Chief Technology Officer and grew the technology and product management teams to 100 people, supporting significant revenue growth as well as the expansion of the business to become a market leader in Europe. Prior to that Jonathan was CTO of Huddle.com and held various positions at Lastminute.com and IBM.

Paul Whitehead, Chief Commercial Officer

Paul was formerly Chief Strategy Officer at ZPG Plc where he was responsible for strategic direction, M&A and partnerships as well as investments management of its international businesses. Prior to that, he was Commercial Director at uSwitch and has over 20 years of experience in managing and growing consumer technology businesses.

Darren Bentley, Chief Customer Officer

Darren has over 15 years’ experience in key customer and marketing roles including MoneySuperMarket Group where he was Chief Customer Officer, responsible for brand, digital marketing, CRM, customer insight, PR and customer service. Darren is responsible for digital and brand marketing, customer experience and insight and PR at Cazoo.

Piers Stobbs, Chief Data Officer

Piers joined Cazoo from MoneySuperMarket, where he spent four years as Chief Data Officer, heading up all aspects of Data Science, Data Engineering and Analytics. Prior to this he headed up Data Science at dunnhumby, driving the utilisation of advanced machine learning methods across the business. Piers has over 20 years' experience in all aspects of data and analytics across multiple industries in both the UK and the US.
