I’ve just purchased a new Honda Civic from Arnold Clark - Linwood after a pretty poor experience with a Honda dealer in Stirling — and what a difference it was. The Stirling salesman knew very little about the car I was interested in and even got the maths wrong on the initial quote. I felt like the focus quickly shifted away from me as the customer, which was disappointing. I then got in touch with Michael at Arnold Clark in Paisley. One phone call and a same-day meeting later, my Honda Civic Sport was purchased — that’s how it should be done. Michael showed genuine interest from the start. He knew the car inside out, answered every question confidently, and went the extra mile to make me feel like I was his most important customer. The whole experience was smooth, professional, and actually enjoyable. I honestly can’t thank him enough. Even for a Yorkshire fella, he’s done me right 👍 Top-class service
Was given reg number prior to collection so we could insure the car but wrong reg was on car so drove it home with no valid insurance , told a full charge would be on car also but on 71 miles, also charged £199 for delivery despite this being our 12th car from Arnold Clark, very poor service, have sent an email of complaint but no acknowledgement as of yet
