I purchased a used vehicle from Arnold Clark – Aberdeen Vauxhall / Peugeot in October 2025, expecting a reliable car and professional after-sales support from such a large dealership group. Unfortunately, within only a few months the vehicle developed a significant issue involving water ingress at the rear of the car, which led to corrosion affecting the tailgate wiring harness and central locking system. The problem was diagnosed by an Arnold Clark workshop, with an estimated repair cost of over £2,000. What has been particularly disappointing is the lack of communication. I contacted the dealership, visited the branch in person, and provided the diagnostic report from their own workshop in an attempt to resolve the issue. After receiving no clear resolution, I sent a formal Letter Before Action under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, giving the company the opportunity to respond and address the matter. As of today, the deadline has passed and I have still not received any response. I expected better communication and customer care from a company of this size and reputation. I hope the situation can still be reviewed and resolved fairly. Customers should be supported,not ignored.
After buying a car from seafield in Edinburgh all tyre pressure warning lights came on.. soon as I got home the engine light came on AC have taken this car in to repair.. however there is a hole in the floor of the drivers side.. I was contacted by Greg to send emails in but none are delivering to him.. I feel like I am being ignored over this matter.. total lack of communication is unacceptable.
