I purchased an Audi Q5 from Arnold Clark, and within days, the vehicle suffered a serious fault, leaving my family and me stranded on the motorway at night in cold conditions. From that point on, the level of support was extremely disappointing. I was left to manage recovery and deal with Audi myself, received no help when I needed to get to work the following day, and had very limited communication from management throughout. Although the vehicle was eventually rejected and refunded, this does not reflect the overall experience. I have incurred financial loss as a result of this situation and have been left without a vehicle. Most concerning is that I raised these issues directly with the management and received no response or acknowledgement. A very poor experience overall, and not what I would expect from a company of this size. I would not recommend using this company.
I sold my vehicle to Arnold Clark on Sunday. The whole process was easy and the sale completed in 30 minutes. I was offered more money for my car than any other company and the whole experience was conducted by friendly and professional staff. I received payment in full today. I’m well impressed with A.C. and have no hesitation in recommending them.
I realise that I am not a customer but have been working in the motor trade for many years 2 things you need to know about AC 1. Never under any circumstances buy a used car from them 2 Never put your car in to them for repair If you look at the reviews you will find they are mostly positive for buying a new car (that's because the want your money ) but check a bit further at the one and two star reviews and you will find theit after care and customer services is appalling. All you will get is a generic reply ( Possibly AI generated) asking you to contact customer service and that they are sorry.Given that it is there customer service that is the problem I suspect it would be a total waste of time as numerous people on here have pointed out and don't get me started on their claimed 250 point check on used cars It would be funny of it wasn't a serious issue
I had a great experience thanks to Thiago Silva who sold the car to me. Friendly, experienced, knowledgeable man. No pressure or hard sell. I went to other Arnold Clark branches before going to Linwood and did not have a great experience. I would highly recommend Thiago at Linwood for and honest, helpful advice if you are thinking about purchasing a car.
