Update from my last review. When I cancelled the agreement with this company the car went back up for sale the next day. And what a coincidence the car is still taxed to this day on the same date when I went for the car. Heard back from customer service department. Didn't get much of an apology as I could have all they basically said sorry canceled the agreement with them the branch had an issue sorting the v5 no apology on the loss of money I paid on the day insurance. Or even anything as a good will gesture. All they want is money don't care if customers get upset don't know how they have got good rating. All I can say is I have found the car I wanted at another dealer and guess what the car has come up as untaxed ready for me to tax it in my name. I'm glad that I did get my deposit back luckily the day after. Stay away from this company. Over charge for cars just check via auto trader. 9 times out of 10 you will see higher price against the car. Rarely says lower price. This company is too greedy. I've learnt my lesson and now know to do a thorough check into a car when I look to buy one from a car dealer. God help the next person who has applied for the car I did hope they don't get messed about like I did and have to wait 3 weeks
My daughter bought a brand new jeep avenger summit 1.2L manual 10 March 2025 from Arnold Clarke Oldbury. From day 1 software message appears on screen advising you have to accept or decline in order to see the miles etc behind it. She rejected it. We had a recall of start stop problem so brought in for that. Only authorised recall but they carried out software update and car locked up for 14 weeks! Due to this a part had to be ordered. My daughter only had it 9 months and they had it 3 and a half months. She still had to pay her pcp, insurance car tax etc. I wrote to Jeep, Arnold Clarke, Stellantis finance, the financial ombudsman and no one cares. She didn't receive any compensation and lost 3 and a half months warranty. I would never use any of these companies again. They don't care about the customers. When she got the car back it still has the software message on so all of that upset for nothing,
Ross at Seafield was excellent. We bought a car from him in March 2026. He was professional, really knowledgeable, calm and patient with us - the latter being particularly important. We were needing a different car which increased our need for more boot space, with 2 young children getting bigger. He catered to our needs, and supported us with a part-exchange. He went above and beyond and clearly cared about our needs, and wanting to find us the right next car. He was always easy to get hold of, responding to our queries (between visits) quickly. I would definitely recommend going to Ross if you are in Edinburgh and are exploring a car.
Having had excellent advice and care when buying my Renault 4e by Kaspar at Arnold Clarke Portway Preston who was most professional ,knowledgeable and personable I had cause to return for further explanation of the electronic gadgetry which is an integral part of a modern auto.I was most patiently assisted by Eithan who was knowledgeable, courteous, polite ,patient and understanding of my limitation of savvy with some aspects of the tech world. I was impressed by both these talented employees who are undoubtedly an asset to this dealership of which I am a returning customer. Thanks for a most enjoyable transaction.
Went to Peugeot/Arnold Clark Stirling and received excellent service from Dylan. Dylan was great from start to finish, there was no pressure and he was very upfront and honest. We agreed a great deal and were able to collect our car the following day. The entire process was smooth and stress free, thanks Dylan.
