Great experience from start to finish — the whole process couldn't have been easier. Michael Low went above and beyond to get everything sorted and over the line, and I couldn't be happier with the car. Really pleased I chose TrustFord Aberdeen, and would definitely recommend asking for Michael if you're heading in.
My grandad’s car was booked in with TrustFord for a service and MOT on a Wednesday, but due to issues with the work and parts ordering, the car was not ready until the following Monday. I was informed when collecting the vehicle that the delay was caused by the required part not being described correctly when it was originally ordered. This resulted in my grandad being without his car for several days unnecessarily. To make matters worse, the car was returned without being cleaned, despite being with the dealership for several days. I raised a formal complaint and, despite explaining the inconvenience and the circumstances, TrustFord refused to offer any further compensation. The only resolution offered was to collect the car again and clean it. What has been most disappointing is the lack of accountability throughout the process. I have now escalated the complaint further, but so far have been unable to get a satisfactory resolution. For a company that promotes “We drive the standard in customer care,” my experience unfortunately fell a long way short of that standard. I would not recommend based on my experience.
After three years of absolute misery, today I have finally got rid of the worst car I have ever owned, bought from the worst dealership I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I bought this car shortly after giving birth, at a time when I was exhausted, vulnerable and completely focused on keeping my newborn safe. They took advantage of that situation and sold me a car that was simply not fit for purpose. What followed was three years of problems, stress, frustration and an absolutely appalling level of customer service. And instead of getting better, the situation only got worse over the years. This was not just a bad car purchase. It affected my life for three years. I had to deal with a vehicle I could not rely on, a dealership that did not properly resolve the problems, and customer service that made an already awful situation even worse. So, if you are ever given the choice between a Ford and anything else, choose anything else. And if you have just given birth, are exhausted and vulnerable, my advice is simple: stay away from a Ford dealership. I deeply regret walking through those doors. Three years later, I finally got rid of it. I have never been so relieved to see the back of a car. And since I cannot respond to your reply directly, I am adding this here: Three years of chasing. Three years of calling. Three years of asking for help. Three years of begging someone, anyone, at TrustFord and Customer Services to actually listen. I repeatedly told you that the vehicle was putting my family’s safety at risk. I provided evidence. I contacted you again and again. I was ignored. And now, after three years of this, your response is to ask me to email you again? I have copies of around 100 emails sent to you, including emails to senior management and the General Manager at TrustFord Edgware. So no, I will not pretend this is the first time you have heard about what happened. If you genuinely want to know what your company has put my family through, look up my name and read the correspondence. You will find three years of complaints, requests for help, evidence of the problems and repeated attempts to get someone to take responsibility. You had three years to help us. You chose not to. Do not now make it sound as though the responsibility is on me to contact you again.
