Never dealt with The Value Car Centre before but overall, I am happy and would definitely consider buying from them again after they helped resolve an issue or two. I found a car for sale through eBay and it took me to The Value Car Centre, which I hadn't heard of before. It wasn't miles away so I considered it when comparing the vehicle I was keen on, a Citroen C3. The price here was competitive and so I phoned the branch to find out more and they were helpful on the phone and we had a discussion regarding the car. I soon after decided it was the one for me as I preferred the colour and spec to the others I was comparing, similar, on the market. The team said it was a busy time of year and they needed a bit of extra time to give it a service and new MOT so I said this was fine and we arranged a time when I said I'd come and collect it. They were fairly helpful and knowledgeable on pickup but there was damage to the car which wasn't identified clearly or photographed when listed, I raised it at collection. The member of staff was good and credit to them - they covered the post-purchase repair cost of a local scratch and dent shop which worked on the area and have made it look good again. I appreciate the cars are secondhand so will have imperfections but it is always good to know about them where possible, so I am glad the dealership sorted it for me. The battery unfortunately was knackered on the car, as I immediately took it to Halfords on the way back from collecting it for a few checks however again, The Value Car Centre sorted the issue for me. Otherwise, the vehicle has been good and I've not had any issues. One of the good things for me as a customer was the 3-month warranty offered on selected/all vehicles. However, it is a shame that the car has to return to Norwich for at least an inspection, to make use of the warranty which might be inconvenient for some people depending on where you live. That aside, I had a good experience and the selection of cars they offer is vast! I would definitely consider returning again but do further checks before or around point of sale to ensure that any problems can be rectified swiftly and happily. If it wasn't for the issues I experienced I'd have probably given The Value Car Centre five stars but they did resolve the issues, which is what a respectable dealer should do and I am grateful. The photos show the initial scratch I spotted at collection with then the repaired version, which is as good as new. In the future if I need a new set of wheels I will definitely consider and browse the stock available at The Value Car Centre. The opening hours are good too and the dealership is easily accessible. Thank you.
I was looking for a new car, I come across value car centre via auto trader on line, from the moment I called , a young guy called Mac , couldn’t of been more helpful, I paid a \xa3200 refundable deposit to hold the car for me, he met me at the train station, and took me to the garage. On seeing the car it was everything he told me it was, I had also been sent a full walk round video off the car. The garage had a great selection of good clean cars, so I was very confident in buying the car I was looking at. I took the car for a test drive and was very pleased with it so I purchased the car. Mac gave me a lift back to the station , as he wanted to give the car a full service, a new MOT as it only had 7 months left on the existing one, also another full valet. I had to get a small amount of finance , they made this so easy for me. The car was delivered to me 4 days later , on time as agreed. I have now had the 3 months with no problems at all. I recently have bought a second car for my wife, they didn’t have exactly what I wanted, but within a week they had sourced the exact car we wanted, with absolutely no pressure to buy if I wasn’t completely satisfied with it. With exactly the same professional service as before, we were extremely happy. All in all a top 5 star service from start to finish. I can highly recommend this garage and the service which has been offered.
Quality service from start to finish. Purchased a Volvo V40 from Jay and it hasn’t let me down. Mac was very accommodating throughout the process and helped me out with all my questions along the way, even delivering the vehicle to my doorstop. Thank you Jay and Mac and thank you Value Car Centre
Very disappointing experience. After purchasing the car, multiple faults became apparent shortly afterwards. Unfortunately, once the sale was completed, communication and after-sales support became extremely poor. Despite raising genuine concerns and giving opportunities to resolve the issues, there was little to no cooperation. I would strongly advise future buyers to thoroughly inspect any vehicle, ask plenty of questions, and be cautious regarding after-sales support before making a purchase. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealer
Not Recommended at all, a friend of mine has suffered a lot because of these lads, facing anxiety as he can't afford a lot and was offered the car is perfect and he wasted 4k for nothing , I was with him few times at the shop to sort this out but experience was terrible, everytime they came with something new and didn't have a courage to accept their fault or give alternative options. If you have got a lot in your pocket do buy as you can expect a lot of problems within a month a two but if you don't have a lot of backup then stay away and find a reliable seller.
Worst experience, i feel being scammed as sold car on warranty and car had problems , I reported it multiple times during the warranty and even asked to return the car but they said they are doing best, its been 6 months and I am facing the same issue that was from day 1, they are now saying that I am out of warranty so they cant help, although the fault in car remains same from day1. They claim they repaired it which i know is a lie because I have been asking for bills for about 2 months and they failed me to show any, the color of the car is different then mentioned, the wiring issue which no mechanic is able to detect, battery drains , have been spending so many pounds for different repair shop but they are saying the fault is to messy that the computer can nog even detect. Very worst experience- not recommended at all Reply: you never change anything in car. You just clear this issues from diagnostic tool, thats why the same problem were there every other day and i told you during warranty period that i want to return the car and you agreed that if the problem not solved we ll take it back. See the picture same crankshaft sensor is showing in diagnostic and diagnost it with different mechanic same issue is showing. Let me correct you car has driven 4k miles not 7k..
