Avoid this dealership if possible. I purchased a vehicle in November 2025 and within six months have been hit with constant problems including radiator failure, oil-related faults, water leaking into the boot, brake issues, a full clutch replacement, and a dead battery — only to then discover the that the car was fitted with a regular battery rather than a start stop one which it should have been. The most shocking issue was finding that the rear brake pads fitted were larger than the brake discs themselves, something that absolutely should have been identified before the vehicle was sold. The dealership only helped during the first 3 months, then refused to contribute towards a further \xa31,500 of repairs despite the vehicle still being within the first 6 months of ownership under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. They also expected me to drive an unreliable and potentially unsafe vehicle over 100 miles back to them for inspection, which is completely unreasonable. On top of the mechanical issues, the customer service throughout has been awful. Staff were rude and dismissive over the phone, repeatedly cutting me off during conversations rather than listening to my concerns, and communication over email came across as unprofessional and unwilling to take responsibility. This has been an extremely stressful and expensive experience and has completely destroyed my sense of trust when buying a car with this being my first car as an 18 year old. I would strongly recommend that anybody considering buying a vehicle from here thinks very carefully before doing so.
Bought a Volvo V40 from Car Value Center recently and wanted to leave an honest review because good customer service deserves recognition. Unfortunately the car developed an intermittent gearbox/transmission issue shortly after purchase. To their credit, the team took the problem seriously from day one. No arguments, no trying to brush it off, no “they all do that” excuses. They immediately provided me with a courtesy car, kept me updated throughout the process, and sent the Volvo to transmission specialists for proper diagnosis and repair. In the end, they carried out a full gearbox rebuild along with replacement of the valve/mechatronic unit — a repair bill that apparently came close to \xa32,500 — all covered by them without hassle. And it came back with 6 months warranty! I’ve now driven the car over 3000 miles since getting it back and it drives beautifully with no faults at all. Used cars can sometimes have hidden issues no matter where you buy them from — what really matters is how a dealer responds when something goes wrong. In my case, The Value Car Center genuinely went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and looked after throughout the whole process. Big thanks to the team and Keiran — especially for handling a difficult situation professionally and properly. Would happily recommend them based on customer service alone.
Great place to buy a car, went in to browse and took the one we had been looking for home the same day. Very relaxed in regards to sales patter, let us do our own thing as opposed to other places we had been which were quite intense. Went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.
I'm 84 and have used many car dealers during my life. I recently bough a Vauxhall Vivaro van from The Value Car Centre in Norwich. It had two issues that were quickly sorted without any quibbles. The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. Together these two things are not something you find very often these days. If you are looking for a new car the best thing you can do is take a look at what they have available. No pressure salesmen just honest lovely people.
