Absolutely 1st class service from time of arrival to collection of the car. James was polite and no pressure to purchase. The car was as described and they ensured everything was perfect for handover. Nothing was too much trouble and would highly recommend SM specialist cars. I purchased a car from this dealer in November for \xa315,500, and after around two and a half months, I unfortunately started having some issues with the electronics and gearbox. By the time the dealer collected the car, around 3 months had passed since I purchased it. During this time, I arranged an independent inspection at a Volvo dealership myself. The inspection and getting the full report took some time, but once I received the report confirming that there were problems, I sent it to the dealer. They responded quickly and arranged to collect the car within just a few days. When I purchased the car, I was verbally told that they would provide a 6-month warranty, although the written warranty stated 3 months. Despite this, they kept their word and took responsibility for the car, arranged all the necessary repairs and returned it to me in good condition. What really impressed me was that they didn\u2019t try to cut corners. The car was repaired at a Volvo dealership rather than being taken to some random garage, and the repairs cost over \xa36,500. Considering the car itself cost \xa315,500, this was a significant amount of money. I don\u2019t know whether the repairs were covered by insurance or paid directly by the dealer, but either way, they dealt with everything without causing me any additional hassle. I didn\u2019t want to leave a review immediately because I wanted to give the car some time after the repairs and make sure everything was working properly. It has now been around 5 months, I have driven many miles since then, and I\u2019m very happy to say that I haven\u2019t had a single problem with the car. The staff were professional, helpful and polite throughout the whole process. Most importantly, they stood by their word and sorted everything out properly. Problems can happen with any used car, but in my opinion, what really matters is how a dealer deals with problems when they arise. In my experience, this dealer handled the situation professionally, took responsibility and delivered on their promise. Overall, I am very happy with how everything was handled and I would definitely recommend this dealer to others. Very impressed with SM Specialist Cars from start to finish. They were very fair and accommodating, and allowed me to take the car for a 25-minute test drive, which was really appreciated. Since purchasing the car, they\u2019ve continued to be responsive and have gone above and beyond to help with everything I\u2019ve asked of them.
