Place looks lovely and plenty of stock but that’s where my love story ended with prestige cars. Went to see a car and arranged test drive for the next day. When I arrived for test drive I was told there was “nothing on system” and “the car had sold”. Left site to see car is now almost £2000 more on their site and not marked as sold. No one bothered to ring to tell me that it had “sold” and was a complete waste of time and in the heatwave I could have done with not wasting time driving around. Personally would avoid as poor communication and dodgy selling practices with price hikes. Car wasn’t great value first time around
If I could give zero stars, I would. The entire purpose of an auction is that the highest bid wins and both parties honor the agreement. Apparently, this JGC trading company (Prestige Cars Kent) sees things rather differently. My vehicle was successfully sold through auction via Third party platform, with collection arranged for the following Friday morning. Then, at around 5pm at Thursday before collection, I received a phone call telling me they were no longer buying the car because their customer had found another vehicle somewhere. Rather than apologizing and taking responsibility, I was given a lengthy explanation as to why they believed they were perfectly entitled to walk away from a completed deal. As the seller, I have absolutely no interest in their internal problems or their customer's change of mind. They made a commitment, then chose not to honor it. It is as simple as that. What made the experience even worse was the attitude. When I said I would be leaving a review, I was effectively told that I had misunderstood the situation. No—I understood it perfectly. A deal was agreed, and your company backed out at the last minute. That isn't a misunderstanding; it's a failure to honor your word. An auction is only meaningful if successful bids actually mean something. If a buyer can simply change their mind the day before collection without consequence, then sellers are wasting their time. Your promises clearly carry very little weight. If you are selling your car or even try to buy a car here, be aware that even after your price of vehicle has supposedly been agreed and even collection arranged, there is apparently no guarantee the company will follow through. I certainly won't be trusting them again, and I would not recommend anyone else does either. Please do think about it before you trust any of their words.
I was treated horribly and this all started on 04/06/2023, long story short my car ended being stolen from their garage after the HELL they put me through with dealing with them to fix an on going issue which was all in warranty which they refused to fix. Which resulted in the Head Gasket blowing because I was unaware of a problem due to them not replacing a part (the coolant temperature sensor for the engine block was faulty but was not replaced.) which would have warned me about the problem. Which should have been replaced due to it showing up in the service diagnostics as faulty, but was not. While in warranty at the time of service. I would advise anyone never to go buy from these scam artists. Then to be giving me so many different prices to replace an engine they destroyed due to their negligence. The customer service was a joke, and unprofessional. They seem to be always busy when you call to speak to them about an issue. They try to give you longer booking times when you have a serious issue with your car. Then they have the audacity to call me 15/05/2026, 3 years later asking when am I going to collect my car from them because they still have my keys for the car which was supposedly stolen from their garage. I lost my job due to this situation and my mental and physical health deteriorated due to all the stress this has put me through, so now I am unable to work. I had have had other issues with them, but to call me years later about this really upset me so I decided to write a review especially after the call this year. This company doesn't care about the customer at all... STAY WELL CLEAR...
The vehicle was in really good condition, it was a good price, and the whole transaction including a part exchange was handled in the same day enabling me to bring the vehicle home which was important to me as I had a three hour journey. Many thanks to Sam, Connor ,Lauren and all the staff at Kent Prestige cars.
The worst experience I have ever had byeing a car. After waiting 6 hours to collect my car the next morning the engine management light came on. I rang to get it sorted, but they could only give me an appointment 20 days later. After dropping the car off to get fixed they had it 3 weeks. They kept saying they was waiting for a part. When I got it back it the engine light came back on again the day after. So I called amd told them its going back. I rang trading standards they said they have to give money back as they get one chance to fix. Then Lauren the manger said they would do me a deal on another car, amd I would get the 2 payments back that I made on other car. Still not received them its been 2 weeks. I rang to see what was happening with picking up the new car as the hire car they gave me was to small to get all my kids. Even though I paid for the top warranty I have had to drive down their 3 times now. Plus one time I waited 7 hours. Lauren the manager I found to be very rude and abrupt didn'treallyseem to care. She ask me why I keep ringing up? Well that's obvious I want my car. I found there was so many people had appointments after they had my money they just moved on to the next customer to get there commission. Didn't even clean the car probably. Yeah worst experience buying a car ever. I have mental health issues and anxiety issues plus depression but none except the other manger seemed to care about how much distress this was causing me.
