I called up yesterday (10th Aug) at 10.38am for customer care and explained the situation on behalf of my father. The lady said it is a presales calls and I said it wasn't but she cut me off and put me through so explained to presales the issue and the salesman said he has taken down notes and will get customer care to call back in 2 hours. No call back so I called again this morning. Waited in queue until first in line and they cut me off. I then called again having to wait again in line. They also messed up the number plate swap which took me a long time to fix during presales. I have had to follow up with my father's admin with PC more so than any other car provider.
I couldn’t be happier with the service from Bill and Karl. They were both incredibly nice, friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. They made buying my car so easy and straightforward, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. It’s been a pleasure dealing with them both, and I really appreciate how smoothly they made everything from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Bill and Karl to anyone looking to buy a car. Excellent service!
I am absolutely shocked by the way this dealership operates. I applied for a PCP finance agreement on a vehicle here, only to discover that they likely double-sold the car over our heads. My partner and I paid a deposit, received written confirmation that the car was exclusively held for us, and I submitted my signed finance paperwork on Monday morning, with a hard check being undertaken on my credit file. Later that day, they claimed the car suddenly developed a "warning light" and couldn't be delivered. Investigation would take 24 hours. They kept to this story across multiple phone calls, even when my partner directly asked them if they had indeed sold the car over the weekend. We were promised they did not. However, we independently checked the official public GOV.UK databases. The vehicle's tax had already been renewed for a year on Saturday, and a new logbook (V5C) was issued on 5th August to a new keeper. In our opinion, they processed my financial contract on a car they had already sold to someone else, then likely used a fabricated mechanical fault to trick us into cancelling, despite the likelihood they didn’t even hold the car at this point. Management dismissively told us they “acted appropriately throughout” and told us to take them to court, totally ignoring any other aspect of this complaint, notably the potential deceit regarding the engine light. We have done exactly that. A formal lawsuit has been issued via HMCTS, we have reported them to the lender supplying our finance and lodged a complaint with trading standards. For the exact step-by-step chronological timeline and full evidence of this deception, please scroll down/search for the review by Cam T on this page. Avoid this business and please trust the vast number of one star reviews, which you may notice are often much more detailed than the five stars! If I could give them minus stars, I would.
