Upon arrival , A very smart and young gentleman by the name of munib immediately welcomed me in keeping himself very polite and professional and showing me around giving information about each car and was very detailed, he was really gentle and showed his salesman skills which impressed me , following up inside the office where ali welcomed me and helped me purchase my bmw 1 series going through each step very clearly and acknowledge me about the vehicle i was buying, The whole process made me extremely satisfied and hounslow cars have really stood out to me. Thank you once again and i hope for your continuous success as an independent business
I had a really positive experience with this dealership. After reading some mixed reviews, I was a bit cautious at first, but my experience turned out to be very smooth. The team were friendly, approachable, and gave me enough space to make my own decision without feeling pressured. The test drive was thorough, and they were happy to answer all my questions. The car I purchased was well presented and has been running perfectly since I picked it up. Everything was explained clearly, and the process felt straightforward and professional. What stood out most was that whenever I had a question after the purchase, they were responsive and helpful, which made a big difference as a buyer. Overall, I found them reliable and easy to deal with. Based on my experience, I’d definitely recommend giving them a chance if you’re looking for a used car.

Avoid at all costs. I purchased a grey 2017 Vauxhall Astra SRI for \xa36,900 at the beginning of January. As a first-time buyer, I relied heavily on the salesperson, who seemed friendly but was somewhat pushy and kept the test drive very short. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice any issues at the time. Within just two days of owning the car, serious problems emerged — a strong burning smell and blue smoke coming from the exhaust, which is typically a sign of oil burning. I returned the car to HCL, but communication was extremely poor. Despite repeated promises, I heard nothing for days. When they finally responded, their mechanic claimed it was a catalytic converter issue, which didn’t align with the symptoms. To make matters worse, they lost my spare key after leaving it in another customer’s car. Concerned, I took the car to Advance Vauxhall Slough for an independent inspection. Their report revealed a far more serious issue — likely worn piston rings and leading to cylinder wall damage, meaning the engine would probably need replacing. They also indicated this problem would've been present for some time and should have been obvious to HCL's mechanic. Given that the fault appeared within 30 days, I exercised my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and requested a full refund. HCL repeatedly delayed the process, using excuses like the manager being on holiday. It got to the point where I had to threaten mediation before they agreed to refund me. Even then, the agreed refund date passed with no payment. After chasing again, I was told to wait longer. Eventually, I received an email claiming they would deduct money due to alleged bodywork damage during my ownership — something that is completely untrue and was never mentioned when I returned the car. I requested photographic evidence and an itemised list of the damage, which they never provided. Three weeks after returning the car, I finally received \xa36,500 — \xa3400 short of the full amount owed — and have heard nothing since. While some of their cars may be fine, my experience shows that when serious issues arise, they are difficult to deal with, unresponsive, and unwilling to take full responsibility. I would strongly advise others to avoid. I have also noticed that the Astra is back up for sale for \xa37000 on their website and autotrader and would not recommend anyone to purchase it incase the issue is still present.
