I recently bought a car from hilton garage and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The whole process was smooth, straightforward, and stress-free. A special thank you to Alex, who sorted everything out for me. He was professional, helpful, and kept me informed throughout, making sure everything was taken care of quickly and efficiently. His customer service was excellent. I'm really pleased with my new car and would happily recommend Hilton Garage to anyone looking for a quality vehicle and great service. Thanks again, Alex.
Avoid these cowboys. Bought a Ford ecosport 2 months ago by an albeit an honest salesman at the time. Initially there were no problems with the vehicle and I was happy with my purchase. However 2 months later the engine management light has come on which when scanned indicated a problem with the catalyst system. There is also a problem with the drive shaft causing knocking sounds when braking. The exhaust system is also completely rusted and there is hole in the back box. I contacted Hilton about this and was fobbed off at first and now the service team have completely ghosted me. These issues were pre existing when I bought the car and so Hilton are obliged by law under the consumer rights act to fix these issues however they clearly aren’t interested. I will now have to fork out and fix these problems myself.
Awful after sales experience. Car was bought and delivered as agreed. I found out that there were a number of recalls outstanding on the vehicle. After taking it in to the main dealer in November 2025, a fault was found with the Ad Blu injection system. Hilton Service refused to take the car in to do the work. They told me I needed to arrange for a quote which I finally got but they have rejected. Other local garages don’t want to work on the system and I have been told be more than 1 garage that this should be taken to the main dealer. I’m now being told that I should be claiming on my warranty for this issue with the vehicle - something which was at fault when the vehicle was sold. Will not be recommending or using again.
I have been looking at buying a new car for some time now. The model that interested me i thought that I had 'done my home work on'. I drove from Stoke to Hilton (approx. 30 mins)with my wife to look at the said car, and try for size (I am a big lad) When I asked in reception for the whereabouts of the vehicle as we were told that they were unlocked. When we found the vehicle it was locked. So after having a look at the outside (which I really liked) we walked back to the reception and asked for it to be unlocked. We we told that someone would do so. After 20 mins or so, nobody arrived and were we no wiser. After first apoligiisng for the delay, on of the girls on reception assured us that somebody woukd come over and assit, After a further 30 minutes or so, still nobody came, I also tried telephoning reception, which was unanswered twice and went onto answerphone, by now neither of us were happy about having our time wasted. we then walked back to reception whare my wife told them of the matter and we decided to go home. We feel that this non existent customer service is shocking. Bearing in mind that we had wasted our entire afternoon, and felt completely dissatisfied with the whole experience. We will not be returning anytime soon.
From making the initial enquiry to driving my new car home I received 1 of the best experiences ever. As soon as I entered reception there were lots of staff available to assist customers. I was left to have a look around the car and when I decided I wanted to buy it I was quickly spoken to by Matt. He wasn't pushy, he was very professional and made us feel comfortable. He covered everything thoroughly and made sure I was happy with it before I signed. I collected the car the next day and again it was another fantastic experience. I cannot fault any part of our visit and purchase and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.
