We called up to ask was what the car was like we were told it was ready to be driven away if we liked it. I asked about the condition and was told it was in good condition but may have the odd small scratch has it was second hand. So at this we decided to dive a 3 hour round trip. When we arrived and looked the car was in bad condition with one side of the car bad scraped in several areas. The car was absolutely filthy both inside and out. No attention had been given to this cat what so ever. We look around at many other cars that were great at all. Complete waste of a day I would avoid buying a car from them at all.
If I could give less than 1 star I would! Just returned from a visit to Hilton Garage to view a Suzuki Ignis. We had booked a viewing and were told it was ready for us to see and drive away that day. On arrival we were given the keys and told it had been valeted. On looking at the bodywork work we found numerous scratches, some deep and such heavy wear on the sill that the paintwork had worn through to the primer. The interior was grubby with dirty marks on the front passenger and drivers doors. On opening the boot, we lifted the carpet to look at the spare wheel and our hands were covered in a greasy, oily substance….no idea what it was and hope we don’t get an allergic reaction! (We did notify the front reception desk of this issue). In short the photos in the advertisement did not accurately represent the actual condition of the car and the vehicle had quite evidently not been valeted. Needless to say we didn’t stay for a test drive and would not recommend this garage.
