Absolutely appalling service, husband bought a very expensive car which was sold with a three year warranty, very quick to take his money....not as quick to deal with issues relating to the car, even during the three year warranty period. He has been without a car for nine months, yet still paying for it. No response from any one with regards to rectifying this situation and managers seem to never be available, wonder if this is due to them being too busy dealing with other complaints. Would suggest avoiding at all costs.
They are very helpful and accommodating to get their sale, then it goes downhill. I was sold a land rover for over £20,000, with a 3 year warranty. The car breaks down within the warranty period, I was assured the breakdown would be covered. 9 months later, I am still paying for the car, and the dealership/staff ignore official complaints, dont respond when pressed, won't fix the car because it's not 'cost effective' for them. I still have 2 years of finance to pay, and have to borrow family cars and use public transport to get to work. Still not resolved
I was browsing the Evans Halshaw site and I saw an offer on a car I was interested in. I'd been to the EH Milton Keynes Hyundai showroom a month before and had seen a car that met my needs. So based on this advert, I got in my car for the 30 mile round trip ( Sunday 5th July ). When I got there the car was still in the showroom ( but another of the same spec would be fine ) so I indicated to a salesman that I was interested in the advertised offer. I was then passed on to anther salesman who appeared to be unaware of the offers on the EH site and read the ad on my phone. He spotted something I'd missed. Hidden away in the small print was an expiry date of the 30th June. This was the 5th July. However an expiry date in the small print is no excuse for having the ad still live. Anyway, the salesman promised to call me back the next day ( Monday ) on whether the offer was still valid or if there were new offers available. He didn't. So I called at about 5pm on Monday to ask why to be told he was with a customer ad he would call me back. As at 17:48 on Tuesday, he hadn't. Obviously not interested in wanting to shift a £50,000+ car. SMH. I've had a much deeper look at the EH website and it is absolutely riddled with expired offers. All SIX offers on the car I was interested in ( different trim levels, PCP, PCH etc ) are expired. And there are plenty of expired offers for other brands ( Dacia & Citroen to name but two ). So Evans Halshaw, if you're reading this ( and it appears you do read these reviews ), can you please answer these two questions : Why is your website full of expired offers? You cannot use the small print expiry date as an excuse. You should remove the ad immediately it expires. Secondly, why are your Milton Keynes Hyundai sales people not interested in selling cars? Finally, as your sales people in Milton Keynes Hyundai are not interested, can you please tell me whether this STILL live advert is actually still valid or whether there are any other equivalent offers available. The people at MK Hyundai should have my contact details and I can give you the details of my query when you contact me.
