Given an appt for 1pm for a sit & wait MOT appt. I was still sat waiting at 3pm so checked on progress and was told the appt is from 1pm to 4pm which was not explained to me at the time of booking, I was told it would be about an hour. I actually got my car back just after 3.30pm which I found unacceptable for a sit & wait appt. I would be reluctant to rebook with Evans Halshaw again.
Went for a test drive on a Hybrid car and the battery was flat, paid £99 refundable deposit so that none could buy in the meantime as we wanted another test drive with the battery charged. The car was not for us and it’s took us 4 months to get the £99 back and had to go through credit card company to do it. Phone calls galore, broken promises, even emails wanting my bank details but nothing. If that’s what they do for £99 what would happen if I bought a car. I will not step foot in their sale room again. I advise others not to too
