Bought a car from here at the end of 2023 and after spending lots of money on repairs, it is no longer drivable and I need a new car. When you buy the car and they tell you they can put a new timing belt on for \xa3200 don’t do it. They did it with me and a mechanic told me his mate bought a car from there recently and they offered the same to him for \xa3200 when a timing belt for that make of car would normally cost around \xa3900. Obviously they’re taking the money and not doing anything. If it sounds to good be be true, it is.
Bought a honda civic from here in august of 2025 a week later the engine light came on with excessive smoke from the exhaust, also the auto stop start light being on. Took the car back and they tried telling me it was just a faulty battery, I argued and said the catalytic converter was faulty. They then replaced the battery and the cat and I collected the car. Since then the car has been burning oil and continues to smoke although less than originally. I top up the oil every month and now 6 months down the line the engine light has come back on saying the cat needs replacing again. I took the car to my local garage as per the warranty and they have told me it needs a new cat as well as an engine rebuild to prevent oil burning as if I just replace the cat the burning oil will cause the cat to fail again. The warranty company says they will only pay \xa3500 when the quote is \xa34800 on a car that isn't worth near that. The warranty claim limit was never explained to me when I bought the car. You buy a car with warranty as that gives you confidence in the car. Seemingly in this case the warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on. I phone up Cheshire car sales only for them to say they wouldn't get involved as "it's a used car and things like this happen" and they "can't really do anything with this". Don't buy from here 6months after you buy a car for \xa34k you have to spend another \xa35k on the car to fix it. 0/10
I spoke to customer service twice about a car ,gave contact details but no response from showroom people. I reserved the car before I checked car is available but after I reserved it,they increase the price on website .they thought someone is showing interest in this car therefore they increase the price. Not happy with this unprofessional service.
Bought a 7 seater from these. Engine management light was on within a week and I was forced to pay for the car to be delivered back to them. Also had no log book, so they taxed the vehicle for me whilst I was on the phone to them, only to find out weeks later when I was in court (because of them), that they taxed the wrong vehicle by accidentally putting the wrong registration details in. AVOID
I Have the bank invoice .They touch the ODOMETER, they take away miles . They said only 1 owner and had 4. I bought a Seat Toledo with 3 years . \xa37000 They brought it to my house with a broken water pump and the temperature light on. Two days later the particle filter failure came on. They went through the toll bridge without doing it and I got fines because the car was in my name. I bought it in person and I always had the feeling of dealing with an underworld gangster. Run away from these people, it's a guaranteed scam.
Misleading and unprofessional I enquired about a car that was advertised and was told it had already been sold. The very next day, I was contacted to say the car was suddenly “available” again – but now the price had gone up by \xa3500 because the salesman “didn’t realise” it had leather seats when he listed it must have left his glasses at home I suppose along with his manners. So due to their own mistake, they changed the story and tried to increase the price after the fact. When I asked if they would honour the original advertised price, I was told that if I “couldn’t afford it” I should go and look somewhere else. This was misleading, rude, and completely unprofessional. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles them matters. Instead of taking responsibility, I was spoken down to and dismissed. Very poor service – would not recommend
I bought my mini from here a few weeks ago. Drove from the dealership back home to north wales only to get stuck in traffic 30 mins later with the oil light on and the engine smelling. I phoned Steve after pulling over who let me know he would help to sort it out at my local garage once home or return the car( but 30 mins into the journey and in traffic ,turning back didnt seem so appealing). Got home in the end to find only 1bar of pressure in the tyres, id have liked to think a dealership wouldn't have had me drive so far with seriously under inflated tyres?. I asked my garage to investigate the issues and give it a once over like an MOT( although the dealership MOT has no advisories). The engine smelling is an oil leak around the oil filter housing, the oil light is a faulty sensor, there is a shock absorber leaking and front discs are also an advisory, which only leaves me thinking their MOTs are "generous" at the dealership. I've emailed Steve four times, with various queries, most recently asking if the V5 had been sent off, no reply, I've also asked if he is willing to help with the \xa3988 costs i now have , no reply. Obviously the warranty is very limited, what they don't tell you is it is limited to one claim per 12 months, only a \xa3500 limit and labour limited to \xa340 per hour(it's been no use to me). It's lucky im a mini enthusiast and willing to invest in it, but for someone else maybe not the case. I would say to anyone buying from here, take a mechanic with you, be wary, you may be lucky or maybe not , be wary of the clear MOTs and don't pin too much on the warranty or after sales contact. Edit* Steve never did send off the V5 form, here i was thinking maybe it was lost in the post only to check with the DVLA that it was never issued in the 1st place, last date of issue being 2023. On further investigation the V5 green new keeper slip has a date of 7/2025, i bought the car 1/2026!!, im guessing this is the date the previous owner wrote on the slip for steve, who probably never had the V5 in his possession at all!!!. Scrolling through the history of reviews on here, there is a random pattern of this happening with the V5 forms. Never have i dealt with such an underhand company.
