I had the worst dealership experience of my life here. I arrived ready to buy a car outright and made this clear from the start. What should have been a straightforward cash purchase turned into a three-hour ordeal driven entirely by aggressive sales targets rather than customer care.Because I repeatedly declined their high-pressure offers for additional perks, the team intentionally stalled. The saleswoman handling my transaction was constantly on her phone instead of focusing on my purchase. When she wasn't on her phone, the team completely abandoned me for hours to help other customers who were willing to buy add-ons.When I finally demanded to pay, the lack of professionalism was staggering. I had to track someone down just to give them my money. Instead of a proper, transparent invoice, I was simply handed bank details with no confirmed final figure, no paperwork, and no signatures requested.To make matters worse, a staff member approached me and demanded I move my "taxi"โeven though I drove myself there and was parked legally in a designated customer bay. Given the situation, this baseless assumption felt like a clear case of racial profiling. When I refused, the employee openly giggled about it with a colleague right in front of me.This business is completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and only cares about hitting sales goals. I knew which car I wanted and had booked a test drive. The day before I made an impromptu visit, as I would have no means of transport on test drive day. The car had just arrived from Gloucester site and was being valeted . After sitting in the air-conditioned showroom whilst the valeting was finished, the car was brought to the front for me to inspect. Decided to buy it there and then and was talked through the process. Was having the car delivered the following day and I was kept fully informed of timings et cetera. Durham site Come to look at a Volkswagen golf R 20th anniversary model white. On close inspection of the vehicle they changed one rear tyre other side was low with flat spots, looking inside the car the anniversary floor mats were missing. I asked a guy called Scott. About floor mats. Was. Rude with me, raised his voice. And said it's the cheapest in the country. Take it or leave it. If there mats inside. That's how it comes. I was disappointed because this is a limited edition vehicle antas limited edition floor mats what cannot be replaced. He told me to go somewhere else and buy one. Rude rude rude I will never go to any of these sites again cowboys. Go to a proper dealership where you will get treated with respect and your business will be welcomed.
I recently purchased a car from Carsa Portsmouth, I requested before I go for home delivery and after I purchased they said they canโt do delivery . With my child and not familiar with the area . As a new driver I was not confident to drive . It was very disappointed and also during my test drive I got reserved and was too worried with my family . In an unfamiliar area.
