Arnold Clark, Mercedes Benz GRANGEMOUTH DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE COWBOYS. A disgrace that they are even allowed to trade of the Mercedes name. We bought a car 5 weeks ago from them, we traded in our old car against the new one. First of all, I’d LOVE to make people aware that they had our old car up for sale and SOLD before they had actually cleared the finance (which wouldn’t pass a HPI check) they were still taking the finance payments for our old car whilst they had been very open that they had sold it. Disgraceful. In regards to the car we bought, we spent 40grand on our new car - to be given tires that had the absolute bare minimum tread and also have the tracking off. Which has resulted in us having bald tires and having to pay £350 for two new ones 5 weeks after purchasing the car. My husband took the car into the service dept today to discuss the tires and come to a resolution to which he was told “the tires wear on the outer edge because it’s a heavy car” it’s a GLC not a tractor. They took no accountability what’s so ever and just continued to make up pathetic excuses. Our salesman was called Will, he can talk a good talk but once he sells the car to you he goes into hiding, won’t sort any issues - when we phoned requesting to speak to him about the finance not being cleared we were told he’d call us back and he never did. We phoned the finance company who confirmed that the car finance was NOT paid off even though we had traded it in against our new one and that they had sold the car under new finance to a new customer - which is illegal and breaks every single law set out by FCA. Do NOT waste your time or money buying a car from here, we are now seeking legal advice and have also reported these cowboys to the FCA and SAF.
Pick up of car was great and I love it and it drives safe however I have messaged about a few issues since and not heard back . Head rest in rear middle is burst at corner, breaks don’t seem right and there was no car Mats . I noticed all the next day when giving the car the once over

Overall, it was a smooth , clean and easy process journey from start to finish and a genuinely positive experience.
Just made our first purchase from Arnold Clark Volvo, Inverness and happy to recommend. We are delighted with the car and the purchase experience throughout.
