Whilst I like the car I purchased and the garage had a good selection, I felt the sales service was somewhat lacking. I managed to test drive on the first visit, however, I felt the information given was minimal and when it came to additional items the level of information given was poor - adding straight away, meaning I had to ask to remove rather than explaining and inquiring if I'd like to add. I had to chase for information on payment and was sent a link via text without any supporting email response; given the value being exchanged, there should be more engagement with the customer. Handover was swift but felt quick rather than thorough. Finally, I have not heard from the salesman since purchase, despite him saying he would check in.
I'd recommend Vertu Hyundai Edinburgh East to anyone because the process of test driving, exchanging my original car and collecting my new car was very straight forward and well organised. This allowed for a smooth transaction which is heavily desired when buying a new car- which can be very daunting! Special mention to our salesman Daniel Hogg who made the entire process easy. His warm personality made him great to deal with and we would be happy to do business with him again. We also thank branch manager Callum Banks for speaking with us and being another friendly face. We will certainly be considering this branch for any future purchases.
