I bought a Ford Kuga from TrustFord Staines this week. The receptionist and sales staff were extremely helpful and had a pleasent and welcoming demeanour. The car had a very minor glitch after a couple of days, which was dealt with swiftly and efficiently free of charge. I have been buying cars for fifty years and this was by far the least stressful experience.
I was pleasantly surprised by the service, helpfulness and kindness that I received from Jon & Ben at Trustford. Jon patiently explained all the features of the car and I did not feel at all pressurised into making my mind up. The car was spotlessly clean when I picked it up and I even had help with changing the number plates. They certainly went the ‘extra mile’ in customer service for me. We have been coming to the Wimbledon branch for number of years as we have two Ford cars, one purchased from there too. We have a service plan and took our car in for regular service & MOT on Monday 15th at 8.30am. We were told that the car will be ready for collection that day in the afternoon, however we agreed to collect it at the same time the next day instead. When we arrived on Tuesday 16th at 8.30am we were told the car has not been seen at all and it will be another 2 or so hours before it was ready. We couldn't wait due to work commitments so left very disappointed that no one had the curtesy to call and update us the previous day instead of wasting our time coming to collect car that was not ready. I then rang 3hrs later to ask if it’s now ready to be collected, it has only gone in for MOT and will another 45 minutes however when I rang again in 2 hrs still the car was not ready. I couldn’t understand it and asked to speak to a manager who was not in that day or the next, that’s what I was told. I explained that due to work commitments, my husband going for a procedure to hospital and two small children, I would be grateful if the car was delivered to us as a way of an apology for messing this up so much. I was assured that the car will be delivered by the end of the day. It was not, nor did I get a call or could get through to the branch at all. I then proceeded to ring them on Wednesday 17th requesting update on the car delivery, again, I was assured that it will be delivered by lunchtime that day. I rang again before closing as the car was not delivered and, again, I was assured that it will be delivered next day first thing in the morning. Of course it was not, I rang again at lunchtime to ask where my car is, I was told again that it will be by the end of the day. They now had my car for 4 days, when it finally arrived on Thursday evening it was not cleaned at all. I couldn’t quite believe how poorly we were treated, I was assured that a manager will call me to go over this situation but to date I have not heard back from anyone! I am extremely disappointed and will look for Ford garage elsewhere.
Very friendly and knowledgeable team with no pressure to purchase. I was allowed as much time as I wanted to view the vehicles and ask as many questions as I wanted without being made to feel uncomfortable. Jordan Asil took me through every step and went above and beyond to make my experience a memorable and pleasant one. Top draw customer service and patience!
