I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Destiny Burke at Stratsone JLR, Milton Keynes for the outstanding support she provided during a very difficult time with my car issues. From the very beginning, Destiny was professional, kind, patient, understanding, and incredibly reassuring. She kept me fully informed throughout the entire process, regularly updating me and making sure I always knew what was happening. Her communication and customer care were absolutely exceptional. What truly stood out was her ability to manage stressful situations with such calmness, empathy, and professionalism. She is extremely knowledgeable, highly capable, and clearly takes great pride in what she does. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble for her, and she consistently went above and beyond to make the experience easier for me. What started as a horrible and stressful situation became far more manageable thanks to Destiny’s support, dedication, and genuine care. She turned a very difficult experience into one that felt supported and handled with compassion. Had various, frustrating issues unfortunately. Having taken ages to find someone to help me book a valet (have a valet package), then my electric flap stopped opening so had to book it in for that. Was told you could not do both at the same time in Chelmsford, had to be two separate days. Also just to check electric flap needed diagnostics which would have cost me over £200 if I had not had extended warranty. First appointment for diagnostics was cancelled with no explanation. When I took it in for the actual appointment, I heard nothing all day. Tried calling the Service team three times, nobody answered. Left message with Sales team for Service team to call me, they did not. When I called for fourth time and spoke to someone, was told that diagnostic appointments were 2 days! At no point did anybody tell me this when booking. Second day came and went, no contact whatsoever. I had to rearrange personal appointments as I did not have a car. On third day someone called to say all sorted - a £30 part (actuator) needed replacing, which took a very short amount of time. All to be without a car for three days. Not looking forward to the parking ticket either which I will inevitably get for the second time as there were no spaces in the car park when I dropped the car off. I also don't think the car was moved from the time I dropped it off until the third day, so may even get multiple tickets. To say I am disappointed in the after service from Mercedes in recent months is an understatement.
I had a service completed whilst I waited.. the staff were fab and really helpful.. there was a nice little seating area where I was able to work from and a free coffee machine (which was actually pretty good coffee). I was in and out an hour earlier than expected which was great! Thank you so much 🙂
