Took my car in for what we thought was only a minor repair, but during inspection they uncovered a much more serious issue that could have caused major problems down the line. Thankfully, the team identified it early and rectified everything professionally and efficiently. The service from start to finish was outstanding, with Katie especially being incredibly helpful, professional, and communicative throughout the whole process. It’s rare to find a dealership/garage that is this honest, thorough, and customer-focused these days. Highly recommend to anyone looking for trustworthy and professional service. Thank you again!
I purchased an Approved Used Range Rover P440e Autobiography from Stratstone Milton Keynes in March 2026. The car was delivered on 30 March with pre-existing cosmetic damage noted by the delivery agent on arrival, a scuffed alloy wheel and paint damage to the rear tailgate and quarter panel. The delivery driver told me that when the damage was flagged to Stratstone, the response from the dealership was: "it's the customer's problem, it's an approved vehicle." Over the following weeks I discovered a further four mechanical and electronic faults: intermittent failure of the door locking system across all four doors; the passive entry system inoperative on the passenger side; the fuel filler flap actuator failing completely, leaving me unable to refuel without forcing the flap open at a petrol station; and, most seriously, the vehicle refusing to restart on four separate occasions whilst I was inside it. Two mechanics looked at it and confirmed an electronic fault. This is a recognised issue on the P440e platform. Every fault was reported in writing within the 30-day window provided under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. In five weeks, not a single repair has been arranged. My complaints were met with DIY troubleshooting suggestions which is just a joke for such a high priced luxury vehicle, I had to wait through a a 12-day response delay, an offensive offer of £150 reimbursement if I arranged the alloy repair myself, and a suggestion I polish the boot scratches out. I have issued a formal letter of complaint to the Dealer Principal citing the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and demanding a full repair or refund but again, this has been ignored and the promised 48 hour response time missed. Next step the ombudsman and returning the vehicle. Such a shame, the car itself is beautiful. The aftersales service has been the worst I have experienced from any dealership at any price point. I would not recommend purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership. Shop elsewhere, you'll get a better and far better service!
This garage is awful, have to keep my car longer or for return visits every time it goes in. I won't be having another Audi partially down to the level of service I've got from this garage. Always quick to correct and apologise, but it's always after they've messed up first
I have been researching the electric car market for 10 weeks. Contacted 6 car companies, test drove several cars and got proposals from 4 dealerships. I was a bit nervous/anxious about buying an electric car- I was looking for a nice car with enough style, power and range to meet my needs. Two weeks ago I started looking at the Q6 e-tron and contacted Audi. Within a few hours I had a call from Alixe Drummond in Hitchin and we agreed to meet up on Sunday 26th March for a test drive. Really liked the car but wanted the Vorsprung version which was not available in Hitchin. By Monday morning I had a proposal from Alixe and on Thursday 30th I picked up my new car. I was very impressed by Alixe's efficient professionalism and absolute engagement in selling me a car. Other dealerships had either ignored my enquiries, did not keep in touch...it was not a good experience. And, when I picked up my car, Alixe introduced me to the myriad of functions currently available in electric cars. Overall, my experience was a great one and I am enjoying my new car very much. Electric cars are not just good for the environment, they can also be fun to drive!!!!
