This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a company. I purchased a car on Wednesday and took out a finance loan for it. I was then told to wait a few days for delivery. I waited an entire week and received nothing. During that time, I contacted the company every single day and was repeatedly reassured that everything was fine and that the car was reserved for me. Today, I found out that the car had been sold to someone else without my knowledge or consent. This is completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. I have now been left in a very difficult situation, having to deal with cancelling the finance agreement and undoing all the paperwork I had already signed. The lack of communication, responsibility, and basic respect for customers is shocking. This situation has caused me unnecessary stress and wasted a huge amount of my time. I strongly advise others to stay away from this company.
Amazing team, I struggled searching for a new car until I came across prestigio cars.. the most hassle free online purchase ever .. my car was 10miles out of the free delivery zone but I wasn’t charged and car came with no issues … looking forward to do more business with you … thank you very much
Underhand and unprofessional I thought things were going ok they replaced some damaged internal ply and removed a tow bar I didn’t want at point of purchase. Things went downhill once sale was agreed. We live 45 miles away from the dealership and gave them 3 days notice for collection after the work was completed, I called again on the morning to say we would be in to collect late morning. When I arrived the van was nowhere to be seen, when it brought round to us I thought there must be something wrong, the van was still filthy outside and when I opened it up the cabin was damp and dirty (I realised why later) I spoke to the sales manager and said I thought it’d be prepped for me, given the amount of time they had, he just laughed nervously and said they had been very busy. Too busy to prep a car for hand over? They put a quick jet wash over it didn’t even dry it down and drove it out to us. When I later mentioned this in the complaint they said do ‘you expected a new car!’ I said ‘no but I do expect a tidy one’. I drove it home, the wife followed and pointed out the brake light wasn’t working. Worse was to come when I woke up the next morning I opened the cab (it had been raining overnight) and water was not dripping but pouring through the electrics in the roof and all over seats and dash no wonder it had been so dirty and damp inside) They told me to bring it back I’m 45 miles away no offer of help or other solutions, my wife took it back as I was unavailable, no offer of a courtesy car or van, she was left to sit in reception for 4 1/2 hours whilst they changed brake light bulb and investigate the leak. The conclusion was windscreen seal had gone so it was sealed with silicone, the silicone was not smoothed off just pushed in with fingers and very rough, silicone was left all over the windscreen and on the roof. My wife eventually got to drive it back, when we examined it, we found they had left a rusty screwdriver at the bottom of the screen by the wipers. I called to say how I’d been upset with all events and the after sales manager told me I could return the vehicle fully refunded or he would give me £150 goodwill payment which he said was more than adequate for the mileage and inconvenience. I said I’d like to consider options and I’d call back. We called back a couple of days later, the message was passed on we’d accept the £150 Thank you. A few minutes later somebody called back and said this would need looking into, this was a mistake. I rang back to find out was going on, I was called a LIAR and told my wife was a liar (those were the words used) this led to some choice words (wouldn’t you if your wife was called a liar) I have no reason to make that figure up, it was left that we could call back on Saturday for an explanation from the after sales manager who had offered the payment. We called Sat, told to call Sun, called Sun told to call Mon, called Mon nobody picked up to us, this went on for 3 days, eventually we put it in writing because their complaints procedure says they aim to get back to everyone within 3 days, a week passed no response, incidentally it also states some phone calls may be recorded, strangely the important one wasn’t. I wish I had read the other reviews from this business rather than accept the supposed awards they flag up, because the reviews state there is history to this behaviour, be warned. Also all of the warranty information in the office and on the website is AA branded but the warranty is through warranty X not the AA. Just misleading the customer. If they had picked up the phone over the last 3 weeks and decided to talk to us and apologise for calling us Liars after fact checking with the aftersales manager, I might not be writing this review. Underhand and unprofessional Steer clear of these Cowboys.
