If you go to the chesterfield branch ask for Dan Daniels, he’s absolutely fantastic and full of knowledge on all cars. I’ve had bad experiences in the past at different companies with pushy sales teams that won’t leave you alone, this wasn’t the case here. On arrival someone will come and ask if you need any help but then leave you to it and let you browse the cars of your own accord. When one of the managers assigned Dan to us when we asked to look in a car he couldn’t have been more helpful, his knowledge on the car was brilliant and he was funny but professional with his communication. All the way through the process he kept me informed of what stage we were at after I decided I wanted the car. For Dan the customers satisfaction comes before anything else and nothing is too much for him when it comes to requests. Thank you Dan for a much more comfortable experience when buying a car than I’ve previously experienced elsewhere, I’ll be sure to use him and Arnold Clark again when I get my next car
From the start the staff were attentive and friendly. Harris, who dealt with the sale, was a pleasure to be with. He was friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant throughout the process. The car was as described and spotlessly clean. The admin was handled quickly without fuss. I would definitely go there again.
Kasim and his team in the Preston branch were so easy to deal with and made purchasing my vehicle a pleasurable experience. They added little extra touches as well like home delivery and a full valet in side and outside. Kasim also arranged for a video presentation of the car for me as my purchase was fully remote
Dealing with Arnold Clark Renault in Dundee feels like I've stepped into some nightmare or my sanity is slipping away. My car has been in for a warranty issue and I literally can't get them to communicate with me. Calls go unanswered and even contacting the Arnold Clark helpdesk has not got a reply. I don't think I've ever experienced such poor customer service. It's actually pretty bizarre because having had several cars from Arnold Clark over the years, I had them down as a pretty solid company. Maybe standards have slipped generally or I've just got a rogue dealership but, whatever, this is the most painful interaction I've ever had with a garage.
