Everything went from bad to worse during the purchase of this car. As of 10th May it has now been 11 days since I was forced to pay in full for the car (a Perrys self-imposed deadline) and I have yet to receive the car: 29/04 - I was told it would be "all ready and good to go". Then later in the day the service team didnt prioritise us. We turn up and the car was not cleaned, dents and scratches not addressed as was promised. Not MOT'd. They "only just realised" there's an airbag issue. I say I dont want to pay for the vehicle until its ready. They force me to pay in full due to a self-imposed deadline to provide a free service plan. This should never have happened, Perrys should be able to delay payment and honor the deal when the car has been handed over. As we were viewing the car, the sales person and manager didnt give any sort of apology or remorse as to the poor state of the car and customer service (my partner and I cancelled plans that night to drive 1hr to pick the car up and it wasnt ready at all). We are told it will instead be fully ready and delivered to us the next day 30/04 - I don't hear from the salesperson Humzah at all, I have to message him. He now says "there is still an airbag issue". He offers a petrol courtesy car, I decline because I do not want to pay for petrol, when I've purchased an EV car. Its now been an entire week, Humzah did not send any updates to me, I had to WhatsApp him myself and ask for updates. It turns up they never got the spare part delivered all week...we're now getting on to 2 weeks. The MG sales manager has not called to offer any apologies or compensation. I would like to demand compensation for this awful customer service - an extra year of free service plan, or money off the price of the car, or free GuardX/protection.
The experience at Perrys Aylesbury MG was good enough. The finance took a couple of days to sort and finally sorted on a Friday night at 5:30, which was quite awkwrd frankly. My experience in buying an EV from Perrys didn't fill me with an idea they had a clue about EVs. However, overall, I felt Perrys to be a sound business to do business with and I felt as though if I had a problem, Perrys would sort it out.
Perrys Aylesbury MG were helpful because Bradley offered superb service and helped me throughout the sale. I had to travel to get to the showroom and felt supported and informed through the whole process. My only frustration was that Perry’s head office took a long time to complete the reservation fee refund which only happened as I chased it.
The experience at Perrys Aylesbury MG was great because i had a great part exchange deal . The price of my almost new MG4 was also very especially low mileage. Leah Maher our our lovely salesperson was a pleasure to deal with , very quick and knowledgeable. Really happy customer.
Perrys Aylesbury MG were great because the hand over was excellent. Sales team were not very enthusiastic and when total price was made I was asked to email but not given email address. I phoned to say payment made and was told once confirmed I would hear but didn’t. Then had a text message on Friday I needed to pay I had on Tuesday. Had to phone twice before being given confirmation which was stressful thinking £17,000 had gone astray. The service team were meant to contact about a service plan. 2 weeks on I’m still waiting. Car is excellent as was the handover.
