Currently dealing with one of the salesman here who in the process of trying to acquire finance on one of our vehicles suggested we fraudulently added a settlement for one of his existing agreements so that the finance would be approved, currently berating us on social media and google reviews for being mislead by his own 3rd party finance company.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with German Car Specialist Ilford. I purchased a vehicle which became undriveable within weeks of purchase due to a serious fault. The car was taken to Audi, who confirmed there were outstanding recalls relating to the fault, meaning the vehicle was sold to me with unresolved issues. While faults can happen, what has been most concerning is the poor communication and unprofessional handling of the situation by the dealership once the issue arose. Updates were minimal, emails went unanswered for days, and I was repeatedly forced to chase for basic information. Much of the communication was pushed onto WhatsApp rather than being dealt with properly in writing, which I found unprofessional given the seriousness of the situation. Even more disappointing was the tone taken by the owner when I raised legitimate concerns - including being told the car was “fine before I drove it”, which is not an acceptable or professional way to speak to a customer dealing with a newly purchased, undriveable vehicle. I was left without use of the car for an extended period, while finance payments had already started, causing significant stress and financial difficulty. I would not recommend this dealership.
A nice and friendly dealership, bought one of their part exchange vehicles and not one of the prestige vehicles they have, I would say I was treated the same as anyone else, the car was presented well and when I have enough money I will return to buy something else!
I recently bought a BMW X5 from German Car Specialist, and I can't say enough good things about the service I got. The car looked just as great as it did in the ad, and I got a fair price for my trade-in. The staff were super attentive, welcoming, and professional. A special shout-out to Kieyan, who took amazing care of me—he's a real asset to the company.
I recently purchased a Rolls Royce from a German car specialist, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. The staff demonstrated excellent communication skills and displayed a wealth of knowledge, all while maintaining a friendly demeanor. I highly recommend their services to anyone in the market for a luxury vehicle.
The worst car-buying experience I have ever had. I was sold a Tesla Model X that was advertised as a 75D, when it was actually a 60D. I later had no choice but to pay \xa32,000 to upgrade it because no one would buy the car as it was. The problems didn’t stop there. The body kit had been fitted using plasterboard tacks, which pierced the air-conditioning pipes — costing me even more money to repair. The alloys had been welded together, and the car had multiple faults from the very first day I bought it. They knowingly sold me an unreliable, unsafe and frankly dangerous vehicle, despite being fully aware that I have young children. It’s disgraceful and completely unacceptable behaviour from any dealer. Avoid this company at all costs. Save your money, your time, and your safety — learn from my mistake and stay far away from these cowboys.
