Recent car purchase.. Jobs completed and car prepared excellently new Brake discs pads and Engine turbo unit .. delivered on time sold and helped throughout .. best of all .. only had this vehicle less than a week and had the front drivers side suspension break and snap whilst parking .. unbelievable .. contact immediate .. own repair at local garage MOT centre .. done .. later £ reimbursed in full by FOW without question .. fantastic
Process was quick and easy. The sales person was great, friendly and helpful. However, the valeting of the car wasn’t as expected, it was clean but inside windows were dirty and it just wasn’t the best valet in terms of the hard surfaces and exterior. I was given a key and a spare, the spare battery was completely dead and the main key came up within hours as needing a new battery. The service book wasn’t stamped. Overall I am happy with the car so far! However I do think that the minor details need to be assessed and given more detail before releasing the cars.
I pre booked a part exchange evaluation followed by a test drive. On arrival I introduced myself and was given the keys to view the car I was interested in and handed over my keys for the value to be assessed. On returning to the desk my keys were returned without the assessment taking place. I then had to wait nearly 45 minutes before seeing a salesperson. Who then arranged the valuation a futher wait. No test drive was offered , however, I agreed with the sale and arranged to come back a week later to pick my new car up at 9.30 9/07/26. However, despite arriving on time I had to wait 45 minutes again to complete the sale. The sale felt rushed and after was told I would have to wait in the cafe until the valet was completed. The valet was not completed to a very high standard, rubbish in the passenger door pocket and smeary wing mirrors. I am happy with the car but your customer service needs a serious looking at and would suggest this is carried out by an external body.
Never again...bought a car that had some noise issues with it, mentioned it to the after sales team, advised to find a garage to look at it and they will pay the bill...why should I do the leg work??? Noise couldn't be sorted, had to swap the car. When I mentioned about any little I was just instantly shut down as 'wear and tear' nothing they can or will do about it. Then that car took over a week due to some other issues...on the cay or purchase I had to sit and wait for over an hr to be seen by someone and then, no apologises for the mess around or anything, just left...so never again will I use FOW and I advise ANYONE reading this DO NOT use them
Absolutely awful, I picked my new car up on the 7/7/26 & on the way home the steering wheel started to shake, but it was getting to 7pm & I knew they would be closing, so spoke to someone on 8/7 she said to take it to my nearest kwikfit which I did, basically to be told that one tyre was buckled, another tyre was just about legal but had a puncture, the last tyre was completely perished & hadn't been changed since 2018....... Kwikfit wouldn't let me drive it home & I leave about 2 miles away. I asked for a refund or exchange to which I was told NO I asked for 12 months warranty as compensation they said NO. So fow let that car out with illegal tyres, I was on my own & petrified, fow paid kwikfit on MY behalf...... I now have to drive a car I don't trust because fow won't help me. I've had it all of 4 days. I am thinking about trading standards but would it get me anywhere??? I'm not sure. I'm absolutely gutted, I thought at least they would offer an exchange. Had to add a star to post, I'm now thinking about selling the car after only 4 days of owning it.
Initially our experience was great, we had a flawless sale and purchase process. However when we returned to collect the car it wasn’t ready. Despite having had an early call to confirm our collection time and having had at least 3 working days between purchase and collection. We had to wait for 2 hours on site before the car was ready for collection, which was especially frustrating having travelled some distance to collect the car and being with my 81 year old father who now owns the car. The car itself is exactly what we were looking for, however the excitement of owning a new car was tainted by what can only be described as poor service and communication between departments within FOW.
