Absolutely avoid at all costs, vans are not as they seem mostly damage repaired vans that need further work doing to them & any work that has been done has been done so poorly, I learned the hard way after paying 9k for a van only for it to need a further 2k spending after a month and they wouldn't honour anything as it's outside the 30 days!! Totally ripped off lesson well truly learned and will avoid anything to do with this outfit in the future also will make as many people as I can aware as im local to their yard and word soon spreads.
I recently purchased a van from FB Van Sales and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The whole process was straightforward and professional, with clear communication and no pushy sales tactics. The van was exactly as described, well presented, and ready to drive away the same day. Paperwork was handled quickly, and I felt confident that I was getting a reliable vehicle at a fair price. I’d happily recommend FB Van Sales to anyone looking for a trustworthy place to buy their next van.
⸻ Avoid FB Van Sales at all costs – dishonest, aggressive, and completely untrustworthy. I have plenty of WhatsApp messages and emails proving how badly these people operate. I agreed to buy a van only if it was ready by a fixed date. They confirmed it would be — then, the day before collection, they failed to deliver. I’d already paid a deposit, which of course non refundable. My wife was left without a car for a week while I was forced to use hers for work. No apology. No accountability. When I finally collected the van after a work rotation, it was filthy inside. I spent \xa330 on cleaning products and hours scrubbing rubbish out of the doors — I even found a screwdriver under the seat. They also promised me an extended 6-month warranty as compensation for the delays. On collection, I was told I only had the standard 1-month cover and to “call back after a month” for the extension. When I did, they fobbed me off with excuses about their “supplier no longer offering it,” then eventually stopped replying altogether. The business is run by two boys (not men), both apparently called Frankie, who clearly don’t communicate with each other and constantly contradict themselves. Their phone and email manners are appalling — rude, aggressive, and quick to blame anyone but themselves. Look at their replies to other negative reviews online: it’s always someone else’s fault. If I’d known the van wouldn’t be ready, I’d never have bought it. They handed over a filthy vehicle and never honoured the warranty they promised. Again — boys, not men, unable to honour a sale. These aren’t professional traders — they’re amateurs playing at business. Stay well clear of FB Van Sales before they waste your time, money, and patience. Let’s see what excuses they come up with next — probably “all my fault.” Maybe I’ll even get a message now! Check their social media too — they’re quiet on there, probably hiding from more negative feedback they claim is never their fault. I’ve been more than patient trying to resolve this, but it seems these boys in business have no respect all I wanted was the extended warranty as promised. Cheers Frankie’s, Callum.
I purchased a three-year-old VW Crafter from FB Van Sales and couldn't be happier with the excellent sales and after-sales service. When I arrived, the van was ready for a test drive. The only dealer that bothered to offer me the opportunity to take a van out on the road. It had a couple of minor cosmetic dinks I could live with in exchange for low mileage, excellent mechanical condition and a great price. Soon after collecting the van, we noticed an oil leak - but not a problem. Dedicated to honouring their warranty and upholding their reputation, the team opened up on a bank holiday weekend, and we soon got to the bottom of the problem. I'd recommend this friendly and family-run business.
Avoid this garage like the plaque, brought a van which they delivered to me, it had a new mot day before (dodgy one) arrived only to have brake pads fitted back to front metal on metal, then engine management light came on and went into limp mode, on my local garage inspection he advised me that the ecu had been tampered with and the engine had problems, I rang fb vans to tell them to take vehicle back as it’s no good, then they told me they would charge me \xa3290 for them to pick vehicle up even know it wasn’t my fault that the vehicle wasn’t running correctly. Then when I did get my deposit back they had took nearly \xa3500 of my deposit for something that was there fault, and I have emailed them and left messages trying to make a formal complaint, with no one returning messages or even trying to resolve the matter. As stated under consumer act right the customer is not eligible for any costs within the 14 days especially when it’s the garages fault
