Amazing company. Couldn’t do enough to help. Answered all my questions and even held the van for me till a suitable time. Nichola was so lovely. Very knowledgeable and even arranged for me to meet half way to pick up the vehicle. Thank you all so much

The way this business supported me through my vehicle purchase should be an example of exceptional service to any company. Called to enquire about vehicle, had a few questions, the individual said would check call back, that was done within minutes. Kept me informed, transparent about everything, fuss free and vehicle delivered days later. I was apprehensive before buying a car and this company just took all the stress and worry out of it. Absolutely awesome 👍

I purchased a Land Rover (KR70 ***) on 17 May 2025 and within days the engine warning lights appeared. Despite contacting the dealer several times, the issues were never properly resolved. Instead of investigating the problem, their “repair centre” simply cleared the error codes without opening the engine. As my independent mechanic explained, clearing faults is not the same as fixing the issue. Here is a summary of the problems I faced: Vehicle not inspected properly before sale – multiple faults were present from the outset (engine cover missing screws, rear boot panel missing, mirror adjustment button jammed, interior light not working). Engine failure – the car broke down while driving abroad, leaving me stranded. Ownership paperwork was not completed until weeks after purchase, which caused further complications. Broken promises – I was told parts would be supplied/replaced, but this was never followed through. Poor after-sales service – travelling over 3 hours to their garage resulted in nothing more than fault codes being wiped, with no real repair carried out. To date, I have had to spend around \xa34,000 on diagnostics, repairs, and replacement parts just to keep the car on the road. This vehicle was clearly not of satisfactory quality at the time of sale, and the way my concerns were handled has been unacceptable.

Bought a car last september, straight away there were problems with the injectors, which they fixed but then told me the engine mgmt light would go after 500 miles. Only when my mechanic got onto them did they agree to take it to vauxhall garage to reset. Now timing chain gone. today the oil pump has gone, so the engine has gone into limp mode, brake pedal also doesnt work now. ive lost 4.5k on this in 11 months. I dont have that sort of money to throw around (as im sure noone else either) not even done many miles in as i only live 5 miles away from work. When i called re the timing chain they didnt want to know, so they wont help me at all. Ive also asked numerous times for the service history and they say they will sort it, but never have. I was sold a dud. Avoid at all costs. I know have to take out another loan to buy another car as i need my car. As a reply to your comment - With regards to the warranty, you told me not to take it 3 years out until the 6 months had finished - during this time someone hit it outside my house, and i wasnt sure if the insurance would write it off, when i got it back it was too late to take it out. With regards to my part ex. i did not know it was a cat S until you told me after i traded it in. You did let me know of a repairer but when i spoke to my mechanic, he said for that price it would only be the chain, not the actual full kit as the parts are more than the quote you gave me. I had to wait till payday to use all my wages to fix it properly, and I havent been paid yet. My stock is for local fayres and does not put excess miles on the vehicle, it is one day during a weekend - locally. Its just excuses in your reply and not the true facts

Bought a shogun 3.2 DI-D Had it just over a year. They put it though an MOT and promised no advisories all done by a garage they use and are friends with. Was delivered with no advisories but after spending a year going through it I can tell you this… Previous MOT had pitted discs all round, these weren’t replaced. Pad changed on front but didn’t put in tension clips so constant tapping noise. Back pads were unevenly worn, one pad had 2mm left, so I replaced all pads including front ones with brembo and removed the happy shoppers ones that had been fitted also replaced all disc, back ones were in a terrible state. added the tension clips. Car hadn’t been serviced in years, garage stated they had fixed the oil leak but this wasn’t done just patched up the top gasket. I replaced the gasket myself and sorted the leak out by doing so, oil filter was rusty and seized on so I fully serviced car myself including changing the very old, black thick oil. Paintwork not very good and could see car suffered a shunt at the front (my fault for trusting and having car delivered instead of travelling down there and looking it over) Car had brand new spare tyre in pics I looked at before purchasing but garage decided to swap it out with an old tyre with hardly any tread left.. They eventually agreed to replace it with a second hand one sent to me by a part worn tyre seller on eBay. All belts were worn and one was cracked so had to replace them myself. Roof started to turn rusty where police light were once installed and filleted over, hole in roof guttering where wires were feed through filled with black silicone and letting in water. Drop link rubbed almost completely missing one side, other side perished. had to replace both of those. Fold out double back seat under floor full of broken glass, not looked over. I’d not buy from these guys again as they don’t seem to check over the cars properly and problems are dealt with as cheaply as possible or “overlooked 😉” by their garage. some cars haven’t been serviced for years. All wheels were corroded, coating chipping off and need replacing or refurbishing at some point when I can afford it. Many things that were picked up on the previous mot as advisory’s were never done yet vanished from the mot done at their own garage including discs, pads, drop links and oil leak….🤔 I know my car was genuinely ex police but phaps bought by someone else who didn’t take care of it then sold on the the ex police centre or part ex, who knows. Also the lady who I spoke to about these problems in the hopes to sort them out told me she was just the receptionist and that she had no authority and would have to speak to her boss about this. Days passed then she told me her boss wouldn’t authorise these repairs and would only replace the tyre with a part worn as a good will gesture. Anyway after I googled her name from the email conversation I could see that she was actually an equal partner/part owner, I didn’t tell her I knew any of this as not to embarrass her, I just played along with it in the hopes they would do the right thing, but unfortunately to no avail. On the plus side, my car is all up together now and runs nice due to the care I took on doing all the jobs that should of been done by them. Add on, cars now on its way out, fuel tank rusted through in several places, be lucky to get another 12 months mot on it, very expensive mistake

My experience with these guys was many years ago. I purchased a former Greater Manchester Police Volvo V70 T5. I visited the centre with my heart set on a V70, and I knew they had several in stock. The two chaps I dealt with were very pleasant and knowledgeable, and following a test drive of my chosen car, I even negotiated the asking price with them. I had that car for 6 years. It never let me down. It came with full service history direct from GMP, and sailed through its MOT's. It is , to date, still one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned, and other than routine servicing at a Volvo dealer, never cost huge amounts of money to keep on the road. Overall a very positive experience with this business, and I would happily go back to them if I was ever in the market for another ex police vehicle. Volvo's are making a comeback to police fleets following the demise of the BMW Authorities models in the UK, so my next visit to this company may be in the not-too-distant future!
