I had an outstanding experience buying my car thanks to Faye McDonald. From the moment I walked in, Faye was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping me find the right car rather than just making a sale. She took the time to answer all of my questions, explained everything clearly, and made the whole process completely stress-free. Her honesty, patience, and friendly approach made me feel confident every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble, and her excellent customer service really stood out. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to ensuring their customers are happy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Faye McDonald to anyone looking to buy a car. She made what can often be a daunting experience enjoyable and straightforward. Five-star service from start to finish!
DO NOT BUY AN MG!! I've had my MG for just 18 months, and now it won't charge. I contacted the MG dealership at Banbury and was told they couldn't even look at my car because they have a huge backlog of MG and Citroën vehicles waiting for diagnostic testing. Apparently, they have cars parked all over the premises including the grass areas out the front and are struggling to cope because they cover such a large area aside from Banbury. I explained that my battery only has a small amount of charge left and asked what I was supposed to do, as I rely on my car for work. Instead of offering any practical help, the woman I spoke to at Evans Halshaw Banbury became very defensive and repeatedly told me there was nothing they could do because they had no room and too many cars waiting to be repaired. Her attitude was unhelpful and left me feeling like my concerns weren't being taken seriously. I was advised to contact Northampton, Milton Keynes or Coventry instead. Yet again I explained that my car wouldn't make it that far because I can't charge it, but I was still told there was nothing they could do. I then called MG Milton Keynes. Although it was a call centre, the adviser there was far more helpful and suggested I contact MG Assistance. Unfortunately, their earliest diagnostic appointment available is 29th July—over a month away. Neither dealership can provide a courtesy car in the meantime. For me, this raises serious concerns about both the reliability of the brand and, more importantly, the level of aftercare and customer support. When a relatively new car develops a fault that leaves it unusable, waiting over a month for assistance with no courtesy vehicle simply isn't acceptable
Access to car park awful, your parking customer cars blocking the main access, lucky they were not damaged. Customers in front of me clearly not happy with your level of service. Ended up waiting more than 1hr over the allotted time. Car returned caked in mud around wheel arches and sills so was clearly driven off road while in your care!
