Embarrassing and disappointing. Took my car for annual service Leeds hyundai, Then I found out they didn't put back the oil stick now the oil spits everywhere. Nothing works right there. Except the sale team you wont get anywhere with the service team. I called them few days ago. And still waiting for the manager's call. I called back and they said he's busy with many different meetings. Which means they don't wanna deal with the mess they created. A local mechanic and business care more about customers than these people. They're damaging hyundai reputation on purpose.
Not informed the Peugeot garage had moved sites, when I turned up for MO T, so was informed where to go. When I drove to new Peugeot garage, nobody around in reception. After a while was told I needed to go to the Citroen garage next door! All this could have been avoided if I had been informed of where Peugeot had moved to, and exactly where I needed to take my car for MOT, when I booked it in on phone. Or by email.
Weeks Later and Still No Response from Evans Halshaw - Update #3 Posting this as a follow‑up because the situation has actually become worse. I filed a complaint weeks ago and have chased it multiple times. Each time I was told someone would contact me “ASAP” or “within 48 hours,” but nobody ever did. Not once. This isn’t just slow service — it shows a complete lack of aftercare (and Lies). The issues I raised were genuine and reported immediately after purchase, yet the response has been silence and empty promises. If you’re considering buying from Evans Halshaw, be prepared for the possibility that any problems you report afterwards may be ignored entirely. My experience has shown that getting a resolution, or even a simple phone call, is extremely unlikely.
