I had a very disappointing experience after being missold a car due to incorrect information on their internal system, which immediately undermined my confidence in their processes. Communication throughout the entire buy-back process was poor. I was left chasing updates multiple times, and it became clear that the back office staff are not properly trained to handle vehicle buy-backs. This resulted in unnecessary delays and frustration. I repeatedly had to follow up to receive my refund, which ultimately took three weeks—breaching their own terms and conditions. Despite the inconvenience caused, there was no offer of compensation whatsoever. This is especially frustrating given the additional costs I incurred to return the vehicle. Overall, a very frustrating and disappointing experience that I would not recommend.
I can't fault the service from reception (customer service) and my car is now running well again. However, when bringing my Hyundai last week for a new clutch, an incorrect one had been ordered. Mistakes happen, but I was left without a car for 5 days and, whilst I managed that, there was no offer of any deduction for my inconvenience and I was left disappointed and dissatisfied. In the past I have always used there and never had an issue before.
Recently purchased a used car from Evans Halshaw, Wolverhampton. I don't change my car very often, in fact the last time was 10 years ago, so I was concerned about any pitfalls or issues. The sales executive, Liz, was extremely helpful without being pushy, explaining the process which had changed since my last purchase. There was a minor fault on the vehicle and Liz arranged to get it repaired sooner than expected. Liz had a good knowledge of the cockpit and explained various aspects of the instruments. Overall the experience was good and if all the sales executives at EH are that efficient I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
