Took my vehicle here for repairs as required specialist garage to look at it and not a great experience at all. Was given 4 dates for completion, first date was informed problem was worse than expected and would require parts and more labour, no issue there. After that the remaining 3 dates not once did I receive a call to say there would be a delay I had to ring them to see what was happening. Also never told the full price of the repair on the phone was only told full price when on way to collect. I’ll give credit to the manager and his handling of the situation but would it not be better to email so everything is in writing to save further confusion. As all the vehicles repairs wouldn’t be required if it was electrical I sat down with a sales rep regarding pricing for an electric vehicle. Spent around an hour to be told I would be contacted the following day with a price. Almost 2 weeks later and I’ve had no communication from them and I’m done ringing them chasing probably long term a blessing in disguise
I had a great experience buying from Evans Halshaw Renault in Middlesbrough. I bought the car from a distance and Maboob Sadiq from that branch is a credit to your company. Nothing was ever too much trouble and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Had an issue with initial car delivered which was not their fault but it was sorted out and exchanged really easily. Tony the branch manager was helpful too but wanted to give a big thank you to Mab for a great customer service experience and I am extremely happy with my Nissan Leaf I bought. Will highly recommend this particular branch to anyone.
Where to start. We attended in April 2nd and put a deposit down on a small first car for our son's 17th. We explained the purpose of the car and emphasised the point. There was communication between then and his birthday on the 16th. On the morning of collection, our son's birthday I insured the vehicle. When I got there, after an hour I was told by Tim Furby salesman we couldn't take the car as it required a timing belt. Tim knew well what the car was for and had failed to get the car sorted in time. Apparently, main dealers don't carry timing belts and water pumps for very common Fords, and it was likely the following week we could collect. The following Monday we were told the car had been sent to auction and we couldn't have it. It took from April 16th to May 6th to finally get our cash back in full. Would I recommend EH? No, not a chance. They honestly didn't care less that they'd destroyed our plans for our son's birthday. We ended up getting a nicer example from Cheadle cars. Avoid. We've just bought a Jaecoo from Swansway Stockport, superb staff and chalk and cheese.
