My review is long overdue, as I purchased my car in January 2022 from the Essex Car Company. It is a BMW 1 series M Shadow Sport 2019. In 2024, they gave me a free full service, as was promised when I purchased the car. All the staff are extremely polite, knowledgeable, and professional. My car was in excellent condition when I purchased it, and I have never had an issue with it in the four years I’ve owned it. I’ve driven nearly 30,000 miles since purchase. I should add that I did not see the car in person before purchasing it—they delivered it to me, and the car was exactly as described. As a single female, I am not the most knowledgeable about cars and the staff were patient and understanding. The service I received from the Essex Car Company was excellent overall, and I highly recommend them for both car sales and servicing.
