\u26a0\ufe0f CRITICAL WARNING TO ALL BUSINESS OWNERS: Utterly Dishonest, Dangerous Vehicles & Zero Accountability. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I rarely leave negative reviews, but Hampshire Van Ltd has inflicted catastrophic disruption, extreme financial stress, and literal physical danger upon my business. If I could give them minus stars, I would. In April, we purchased a Luton van for our removals business. We paid almost \xa35000 deposit and went through finance. We were repeatedly assured the vehicle was in "excellent condition". This was a blatant lie. THE TIMELINE OF A NIGHTMARE: Breakdown #1 (200 Metres Away): Literally less than 200 metres after driving out of their forecourt, the engine lost all power. We had to limp back. The owner personally called us, looked us in the eye, and lied, claiming a professional technician had installed brand-new injectors. Against our better judgment, we trusted them. Breakdown #2 (The Motorway Death Trap): Days later, we loaded the van for a customer\u2019s house move to Leeds. On the motorway, the cabin filled with a suffocating smell of fuel. We pulled over to find diesel pouring out of the engine all over the floor. Minutes later, the engine completely died on the motorway, leaving us, our team, and our customer's entire life belongings stranded on the hard shoulder surrounded by speeding HGVs. It was an incredibly dangerous, life-threatening situation caused entirely by their gross negligence. COMPLETELY GHOSTED AND ABANDONED: From that second, Hampshire Van Ltd\u2019s "after-sales service" ceased to exist. A representative named Tom promised to arrange vehicle recovery, accommodation, and a replacement hire van. He did absolutely nothing. He vanished. He ghosted our emails, ignored our calls, and left us stranded hundreds of miles from home. We had to bail ourselves out at our own expense. We had to pay out of pocket for emergency taxis, National Express coaches, and hire vans just to rescue our customer's belongings. One of my business partners had to stay in a broken-down van in a garage while our customer had to drive over an hour to recover essential items. We spent te night in a hotel a complete the unload and reload the rental van. Unable to get a rental car we have to come back in the National Express. Departing at 6 pm. We didn't get back home to Bournemouth until 3:00 AM after all day. FINANCIAL IMPUDENCE: This ordeal cost our business over \xa3400 in direct out-of-pocket expenses (fuel, taxis, emergency rentals, bus, food). Despite emails and proof of receipts, Hampshire Van Ltd has completely ignored us and haven\u2019t pay a single penny back. To add insult to injury, while the faulty van sat rotting in a Sheffield garage for weeks, they had the absolute audacity to try and sell me another van, sending photos instead of resolving the crisis. It took over two grueling months of fighting through Close Brothers and Octane Finance to finally get the finance cancelled and get our deposit back. The ONLY reason we got our money back was due to the finance company's integrity\u2014Hampshire Van Ltd did absolutely nothing. SUMMARY: They sell completely unroadworthy, dangerous death-traps. They lie straight to your face about repairs. They will ghost you, ignore your emails, and leave you stranded on a motorway the second they have your money. Fellow traders, van drivers, and business owners: DO NOT RISK YOUR LIVELIHOOD OR YOUR LIFE WITH HAMPSHIRE VAN LTD. They are highly unprofessional, unethical, and entirely untrustworthy. Go anywhere else.
I was very impressed by the level of service I received. I have to say, that it was so refreshing, to be kept up to date throughout my purchase experience , answering any questions I had, these guys could not have done more to look after me. They delivered the vehicle to my house free of charge even though I live almost 100 miles away from their showroom. I am so very happy with the vehicle itself. And.. the preparation offered by Hampshire van\u2019s before they let it leave their showroom both mechanically and cosmetically, ensured that it was in top condition throughout when it was delivered to me. I highly recommend this company
I was in the market for a new van for work. I have never purchased a vehicle from a dealership before and shopped around before visiting Hampshire Vans. I had Fantastic service from Dec on initial visit. Dec was polite, attentive and was happy to answer any question I had. His service and professionalism swayed me to choose a van and went ahead. The vehicle was as described online and as the process went on I was kept up to date every step of the way from Dec and Ed which I must say reassured me I was in good hands. I am very happy with my vehicle and I will be sure to recommend Hampshire Vans along with Dec and Ed to friends and family and when the time comes return for future business.
I recently purchased a Peugeot Partner from Hampshire Vans. From the moment I enquired about the vehicle the guys were both friendly and professional. There was no hard sale but Ed was very quick to come forward with information when requested. When the sale was completed the van was delivered to my home in Poole. Highly recommend this company.
Absolutely delighted with my new work van purchased from Hampshire Vans. The vehicle is reliable, comfortable and perfectly suited to my business. It drives smoothly and has plenty of space. The condition was exactly as described and the whole buying process with Dec was straight forward, efficient and professional.
