Feedback on Recent Experience with Driven Dealership I am writing to share my recent experience with Driven dealership, which I believe may be important for you to be aware of. I was interested in purchasing a Range Rover Evoque (Seoul Pearl HSE SC19PNU) listed at \xa317,699, with one previous owner. After arranging finance through my broker and agreeing to a part exchange valuation of my Audi TT at \xa37,250, I was expecting a straightforward purchase process. Unfortunately, the experience at Driven was disappointing. Initial communication became difficult when the sales representative, Matt, requested to change my planned collection day from Saturday to another day without clear explanation. When I referenced their advertised 7-day opening, his tone became rude and aggressive, pressuring me for an exact time despite my reasonable schedule constraints. Upon visiting the dealership on April 25th as agreed, my partner and I inspected the vehicle and found multiple issues: dents and scratches on various panels, paint damage, interior wear, and only one key available despite no prior disclosure. The manager pointed out damage and scuffs on my trade-in vehicle, suggesting a \xa3400 deduction for repainting, which I feel was excessive and inconsistent given the condition of the Range Rover on offer. I would like to clarify that, under no circumstances, can the paint damage be accurately estimated at \xa3400, as suggested by the manager. It appears there was an attempt to charge me this additional amount, which I believe is unwarranted. Additionally, I was concerned by unprofessional conduct and comments from staff that seemed to reflect stereotyping and race profiling, both on the phone and in person. Given the condition of the advertised car and the treatment I received, I chose to cancel the transaction. The dealership is currently processing the return of funds via the finance company. Since then, I have secured a better deal from another dealer offering a similar vehicle in excellent condition, a fairer trade-in value, and a much more professional experience. I share this feedback to caution others considering Driven and to highlight areas where their customer service and transparency fall short of expectations. I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealer under any circumstances.
After seeing some negative comments regarding Driven , I wanted to share my own experience. I recently bought a car from this garage and everything went smoothly from start to finish. We drove up from Liverpool to view a specific car and were able to test drive it on arrival. The staff were all friendly and easy to talk to throughout. Max who assisted with the purchase was excellent, he was professional, extremely helpful and kept me informed every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
