Highly unprofessional and dangerous experience. Avoid!! I bought a used BMW from this dealership that turned out to be completely defective and unroadworthy from day one. Within the first 3 days, a heavy vibration was reported and a fractured suspension coil spring was diagnosed by their own mechanic, but repairs were constantly delayed and stalled with excuses. The car also had water leaking into the rear footwell. During a necessary trip, I was forced to pay out of pocket to replace dangerous, dry-rotted tyres that were splitting. On day 28, the car suffered a catastrophic prop-shaft/rear diff failure (the exact area causing the original vibration) and became completely immobile, this fault was well known as well. On the day it broke down, the brakes were also smoking directly into the cabin and oil leak behind engine and top of gearbox. When I legally rejected the vehicle within the 30-day window, the dealer refused a full refund and tried to unlawfully deduct nearly \xa31,000 for mileage (1,866 miles). To avoid a lengthy Small Claims Court battle, I had to accept a financial loss just to get my money back and end the nightmare. Shockingly, the dealer has now put the exact same car straight back up for sale at the original price, using the same old MOT, without legally verifying that these major safety issues have been properly resolved. Terrible vehicle, shocking communication, and zero respect for consumer rights. Avoid this dealership at all costs or at the very least, avoid this specific car! UPDATE in response to owner’s reply: The owner’s response confirms the key facts, despite attempting to shift the blame: Misleading Timeline : The booking was made on day 6(13th April) after delivery, not "weeks later." The fractured suspension spring was discovered almost immediately by his own mechanic. (Screenshots can be provided with name date and time) Safety: A broken suspension coil spring is an automatic MOT failure and legally unroadworthy. Advising a customer that a snapped spring is "perfectly drivable" is unacceptable. Pre-existing Faults: The owner admits in writing above that the car had a noise on day one and that the vibration was a rear differential/drivetrain issue. Communication & Delays: I have complete chat logs proving I repeatedly requested dates for repairs while being given continuous excuses about workshop availability. Consumer Law: Under Consumer Rights exercising a 30-day right to reject entitles the buyer to a 100% refund without mileage deductions. Receipts for emergency repairs remain attached. Potential buyers can read the owner's admissions above and draw their own conclusions.
