On a Thursday last I got a flat tyre and pulled off the road.just at the entrance to Crossgar Commercial. Simon who I later found out was the owner saw my predicament and told me to take my car down to his workshop where mechanics took off my wheel and since I had no spare drove me to a nearby tyre centre where a new tyre was fitted. They drove me back and put the wheel back on. I really would have been stuck without their help. Simon refused to take any payment for his trouble. You don\u2019t often come across such courtesy.

Had issues with the speedo cluster on my Boxer Camper. Took it to Simon and the team at Crossgar Commercials, and they got my issue sorted out in no time at a very reasonable price indeed. Service with a smile, friendly people and an excellent standard of work and service. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend the friendly folk here!! I will be using Crossgar Commercials again....
I had a quick test drive \u2013 the staff member was very friendly, and all went well. I then came back 4 days later as I had basically decided I would buy the van and I had a few questions. This time I met the owner (Simon). The advert stated the van came with a \u201cpre-delivery inspection\u201d and so I asked what this included (which seems like a reasonable thing to ask). The whole tone changed, he was really unpleasant and made a few comments about how they didn\u2019t provide that sort of detail and I\u2019d be better going to one of the bigger dealerships \u2013 it was clear he basically just wanted me to leave. I wasn\u2019t looking for a 100 point list (as he inferred) \u2013 just an idea of what sort of checks they do. I\u2019ve never seen a salesperson behave like this \u2013 still can\u2019t work out what was really going on. Anyway, I was left quite unsettled by the whole experience. I\u2019m just glad I didn\u2019t do a deal with these people before it was too late.
