Drove 3 hours to view a ford ranger described as \u201coutstanding condition\u201d vehicle had multiple stone chips , cracked windscreen and rubber falling out of the rear compartment , no mats for the footwells . It is not a brand new vehicle but was not as described. Stated one owner from new but it appears to be a repossessed lease/finance vehicle . Stated it has full Ford main agents service history but this was not there with the vehicle so was not provided and no service book either . Asked the staff member to call the Owner as he was not there and he appeared to be rude to staff when questioned about the description being inaccurate and a price negotiation. Wouldnt waste your time .
bought a van in June still waiting for so called service that was carried out prior to collection ,I had the van checked over with a mechanic and was told brakes needed done which I informed Phil and he said no problem this would be fixed at service , A month later still no paperwork of so called service and surprise my brakes Need replaced and also washer jets do not worked so called again about the warranty and been given the run around they are only interested in the cash no such aftercare , do not answer you calls just fob you off and then don\u2019t even answer I spent over 9k with them so no just a few pounds and will be taking the matter further do not buy from this company they could not care less and are breach of sale description as advertised full service and warranty be for sale DO NOT BUY from this company
Put down a deposit on a Honda Accord and got the train from Newcastle down to Selby where the owner arranged for his man to pick me up. Car was exactly as described over the phone with all the paperwork and service book in check. The owner Phillip even took the car for a fresh oil and filter service and knocked the train fare ticket price off the final amount. Had a pleasant drive back up to Newcastle without any hitches! Thanks again to Phillip for an excellent level of customer service, would highly recommend buying a vehicle from this business :)
I bought a 2019 Vauxhall Combi van from Countryside Commerials Selby in April 2024. The van developed issues within the first week, starting with an engine management light coming on. I contacted the dealer immediately and he took the van back twice. Each time I asked for paperwork for the work carried out, but none was provided. After the second visit, around eight weeks later, I was told the repairs had 'cost a fortune' and that it was all sorted, but I still received no paperwork and was never told what had actually been done. Around 14 months later the same issues returned and the engine eventually failed. The repair cost to date are \xa31304.00, and the van is now too expensive to fully repair. When I contacted the dealer again, I was told it was no longer his responsibility and to speak to the finance company he uses regularly (Mallard Finance). The finance company then directed me back to the dealer. Both parties effectively refused to take ownership of the situation. The matter is now with the financial Ombudsman and ongoing (2026). In my experience, the van had problems from the start and as I never received paperwork I was promised.!!!
Absolutely no drama buying a van from these lads,was chucked the keys and told to help myself,no high pressure sales crap,bought the van I went to see and so far no issues but with a 3 month warranty I have no doubt that if there was an issue it would be swiftly resolved, definitely recommend \U0001f44d \u2026
Just got our Nissan Navara from here. The gentlemen really looked after me with this one. I'm a woman and I don't trust a lot of dealers ( I do actually know a lot about cars) but these really kept me up to date and even waited late for us to come and pick up the after picking our children up from school. I was told it drives beautifully and he wasn't kidding. Its beautiful and I enjoyed every minute of the drive on the way back and trust me I had about two hours in it after sitting on M18 due to accidents. Thank you so much for your help.
