PLEASE I BEG ANYONE THINKING OF BUYING FROM THESE DO NOT!!!. Absolute scumbags. Sold me a van they knew was knackered. Lied through their teeth (Simon and Gary) Van had to go back after a week. For engine management light and it broke down. While in their possession Thought it was ok to allow one of their mechanics to take the vehicle on a 40 mile trip to his home on my fuel!. Brought the van back apparently fixed - it lasted 24hrs same issue. So under my consumer rights I asked to return and have a refund. I got my refund and the van picked up after not giving up. Simon is a pure bully. Yes there is more than one side to everything but the conditions they sold the van in was unacceptable. Sells vehicles regularly with no logbook (admitted it). Also, there is no mention on their website of the faults last 3 digits if registration kxb Renault traffic sport. In response to the below: response: 1: Fuel was NOT replenished 2: When the van was collected the first time - it was not working - no life at all in it so something was done under the bonnet (I have cctv of this) 3. At NO point did I agree to the van being taken 40 miles or for anyone to take it to their home 4. Many times I had Simon literally screaming down the phone at me (I have witnesses to some of it) 5. Yes I did say I don’t trust Simon or Gary as it was clear the van was a absolute dud and was unreliable so I was paying for a unusable vehicle 6. Yet another excuse regarding the bank and refunding again some of this is on cctv 7. Yes I did imitate a chargeback because Simon and Gary were being uncooperative AND I did ask the bank to cancel the chargeback which they couldn’t - it’s not me that’s a liar at all I can prove every one of my claims. 8. Citywide have totally shown theirselves up on the response.

I can honestly say I have never in my life come across someone as helpful and understanding than Simon at citywide van sales.. . I have bad credit so it's been a headache from the start. . But Simon truly did everything possible to help me and now I have a new van.. definitely be back for my next vehicle.
Horrible Experience with City Wide Vans – Do Not Trust Them! I had an extremely frustrating and stressful experience purchasing a van for my business from City Wide Vans. Here’s a rundown of the issues I faced: 1. Misleading Mileage: The van was listed as having only 40,000 miles, but when it arrived, it actually had 60,000 miles. This was a clear discrepancy that was never properly addressed. 2. Promises of Repairs Not Delivered: After the deal was made, the dealer promised to fix some damage to the van. However, they tried to back out of this commitment. I also asked for a warranty, but it was never included in the financing package as promised. 3. No Service History: The van arrived with no service history. I was told it would be sent to me later because it was with the account. It was supposed to be “extensive,” but when I finally received it, there were only two service records—one of which was for a crash repair and new doors. 4. Faulty Van: The back doors didn’t line up or shut properly. Despite being told parts would be sent, I waited six months with no update. Shortly after, the van developed serious faults, including the engine management light coming on, a side door handle falling off, and then the entire door malfunctioning. 5. Fraudulent Activity & Financial Issues: After months of waiting for repairs and dealing with lies and excuses, I contacted my finance company. This uncovered discrepancies in the mileage and fraudulent activity on the finance agreement, which also listed the van with 40,000 miles. As a result, the finance company refused to honor the agreement, and the van had to be returned. 6. No Future Business: I was informed that Close Brothers, the finance company, would no longer do business with City Wide Vans and would seek criminal prosecution. In the end, I was left without a van, causing significant disruption to my business. This entire process has been a nightmare, filled with lies, delays, and unfulfilled promises. I highly advise anyone to stay away from City Wide Vans to avoid the same hassle. I’m sure they will have a reply to this but I’m happy to add photo evidence if needed .
Purchased van and had starting issues after 2 weeks after contacting them they told me to bring van straight back to them also provided me with courtesy van where they changed starter motor with no hesitation and costs to myself also had the decency to deliver my van back to me. Would definitely recommend \U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f\U0001f44f
Where do I start. Bought a fiat ducato 15 mths ago for \xa320,000. It's a stop start that never stopped or started as it should Issues started the following day when the van went into limp mode, had to have a forced regen done which admittedly Simon did reimburse us for. 4 more regens since then, all at our expense as warranty not worth the paper it's written on and waiting 2 days for approval and a \xa31000 limit, meant a long wait to get back into the garage. Ended up at a main dealer as skemetics of the van hadn't been released and garages couldn't read the codes. Yet another regen, then after 2 months of owning van the brakes were squeaking, took it to the garage, it needed new pads and calipers, they asked when the mot was due, we said it had only just been mot'd, they took pictures of the brakes and calipers and said it was a dodgy mot and they would present evidence if it was required. Again dpf blocked off to main dealer and this time a new ECU was apparently needed at a cost of \xa31000, 500 miles later dpf blocked again, this time we had it taken out professionally cleaned and new hoses and pipes and dpf put back in, all was good until the battery died. We got a new battery at the cost of \xa3350 +fitting and coding, and the stop start, starting working. Great we thought until the following day when white steam started billowing out of the exhaust. THE BLOODY HEAD GASKET HAS GONE, as has the starter motor which looks like it's been at the bottom of the sea. So far it has cost us nearly \xa36000 to rectify and that's without the head gasket and starter motor added on. Now when we got the van, it just supposedly had its first ever mot, the mileage on the clock said 65,000 odd miles, judging by the issues I'm beginning to wonder if that is the correct mileage,or the vans being driven in reverse if you know what I mean. It never came with any service history as the previous owner apparently wouldn't hand it over, not so sure that's true now. So thank you Simon for destroying our lives and leaving us broke, I hope you can sleep at night because we can't Now Simon did say if we recovered the van back to him in Wales his amazing mechanic would sort it out, now if other garages couldn't read the codes because the skemetics hadn't been released how could his mechanic, also if the same mechanic had done the work on it before we collected it why didn't he know there was a major issue. Now looking into trading standards as this has bought us to our knees. I have every receipt of the thousands this bloody van has cost us and still costing us just in repairs. And no we haven't contacted Simon since he said about recovering it to him to discuss the issues, whats the point, he will only cover the cost if he can reclaim it back from the warranty company and they will only fulfill a maximum of \xa31000, as told to me by the warranty company.
Very easy and professional when I bought my van here. I was able to look at it and make a list of things I'd like completed before purchase, then they gave it a fresh MOT, cleaned inside and out, resprayed the back doors and also sorted tax for me to make it so easy completing the purchase and driving away. Lovely trustworthy owner.
