I use Church wharf garage to service or when I have any problems with my car. My experience is one, where they are very responsive and efficient when called upon. Another positive is, that they are very honest guys on the Service desk and as are their mechanics . I don't know what I would do with out them... Thanks
I called this garage after having a battery fitted by a professional recovery firm. The recovery firm stated I needed to have the battery registered to the vehicle to clear the service sign. So I called Church Wharf Garage and explained the case and asked for a Service whilst at it. They said yes we can sort that out, the vehicle went in and got sorted (the problems are about to start) I got back into the vehicle and everything was great. I went home packed the vehicle ready for my holiday, The next day I went on holiday, as I was driving down to Cornwall the vehicle started playing up lights on the dash flashing on and off all sorts of faults lighting up. When I got home I called the garage back and explained what had happened they said they would call me back in an hour as they’re on a break. An hour went by then an another hour with no call back. I attempted to call them with no one answering I waited till the next week and called them back and explained what had happened. The manager then had a chat with me then said sorry we can’t repair that. I wanted to know what the mechanic had done how did he/she register the battery to the vehicle with no radio code after doing a diagnostic. So I taken the vehicle to another official Garage they did a check turned out there was no faults on the machine. The mechanic was confused as I started to drive off the fore court the Vehicle just beeped and flashed its warning lights lighting up all sorts of warnings I turned of the vehicle the attempted to restart the vehicle and it was dead in the water so to speak. So I checked the battery and the battery connection was loose I nipped it up and the vehicle started all faults gone and has been fine since. So what did the mechanic do, talk me through it I think he/she messed up. Costing me an extra \xa3240 from another Garage for a diagnosis that could have been avoided. I believe your mechanic caused all the fault cause it didn’t have any faults before you got your Mechanic on it.
Brilliant service from this family run business. I've been using this garage for over fifteen years now and never had a problem. They are honest, helpful and polite. Recently my car had a problem due mainly to our pothole problems. I rang to see if they could help and even though they were fully booked up they took a look and diagnosed it straight away. They then managed to get my car in and even though they couldn't fix it there and then, they supplied me with a courtesy car for the night. I work shifts so this was a god send. Our luck had been pritty dry at the time but these guys helped us in our time of need. Would recommend to anyone. The best in Bolton. Thanks again chaps.
