I had a good experience with Cartime bury on Monday 22nd June. They were honest, and the car I viewed was in great condition. I didn’t end up purchasing it as it didn’t suit my personal requirements due to my height; there wasn’t enough legroom or space around the steering wheel. It was a Kadjar GT Line with great specs. They didn’t try to hard-sell the vehicle and instead went above and beyond to find another car within my budget, which was located at their prep centre just a few minutes away, even though it was close to closing time. I really liked the second car, but unfortunately it was automatic, which wasn’t suitable for me. The deposit process was handled very smoothly. I didn’t even need to request a refund, the manager proactively confirmed my payment method so it could be returned. I signed a paper document, and by Wednesday morning the deposit was back in my account. The only minor downside was that only one toilet was working, with the others out of use, which meant there was often a wait given how busy the site is.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GARAGE The Biggest cowboy garage i've ever had to deal with. Won't refund my money after paying for a car outright that cost me £21,000. I refused the car within 12 hours of collecting it, it had 4 major problems that an independent garage claimed that they'd fail it on an MOT. The aftercare is abysmal & the agents that you have to deal with are quiet frankly rude and couldn't give less of a toss. Genuinely the worst experience ever for the last 3 months since purchasing a FAULTY car from this horrible business. Voice recordings of abusive staff that hang up the phone on you as they don't want to give you answers to your questions. Mess you around with false information. THE WORST BUSINESS TO EVER DEAL WITH. STAY WELL CLEAR AND SAVE YOUR MONEY
I’ve brought car from car time initially had a bad experience with the sales team or miss sold me Warranty, lied to me and didn’t show me respect and good level of service after I purchased the car. It could’ve been resolved there and then however, I had to take matters in my own hands. I could not trust the salesman’s Murad. After leaving a review on here a month later as my complaint was ignored initially by the Team. one day after leaving a review I get a call from Scott who is the manager car time bury which I was surprised to receive this call, however he read my initial review. He understood he was apologetic and he was transparent with me and that’s all I wanted initially when I had issues with the Finance and the salesman. He was able to offer me a compensation he’s a man of his word he sent me a documentation of what he’s offered in writing. I was happy with that I’m more just even getting a call on the back of my review. I’m glad my concern complaint was taken seriously in the end and dealt with. Basic customer service good communication and transparency that’s all. So hopefully going forward there won’t be any issues and I hope the rest of the staff are able to match that service standard from Scott hill. If it wasn’t for him, it would be a one star rating.
just to let you all no about my experience at cartime bury first of all they sold me an audi rsq3 vorsprung witch was remapped and modified even though I asked if had been modified and they said no. so then the car came back to them after me been in it for 5 months uninsured as it was modified without my knowledge so basicallybeen missold a car. then I was put into a volkswagen touareg black edition witch I asked for only to find problem after problem with this aswell take in mind I was still under cartime warranty for 3 months but only to find out that the warranty does cover the front camera in my car what had a lens missing witch wasn't any fault of my own just wear and tear . so then I asked Dan chippendale the site manager who is an absolute joke what he was going to do about this and he said he won't fix it as it may of been my fault lies again. so then I got intouch with the finance company motonova to let them know about the issues I had with the carand it wasn't just one problem is was several problem as I got a diagnostic report done and that flagged up everything. motonova sent an engineer out to asses my car only to find out that after waiting over a month his report was saying that this car is a rejection but I had already got rid of the car as it was problem after problem . so by this time the audi rsq3 sportback vorsprung was given back to cartime 6 months ago from this report only then when I got home on Friday the 19/6/26 I had a letter from West Midlands Police stating ive been speeding take in mind ive not had the car for over 6 months now and I get a ticket from that car witch they didn't change the name over on the log books . so do yourself a favour and go somewhere else as you will regret buying a car from this very dodgy carsales cartime in bury. stay well clear and also the afersales is just a group of people made up to be experienced mechanical minded idiots a guy called Stuart was the afersales manager who hasn't got a clue about anything yo do with cars as he must of been the village idiot in bury. Read other reports on this company before you even go there . trust me go somewhere else there are loads of carsales around. Just read other people's reviews.
I purchased a car from Cartime on 8 May for £19,118. Unfortunately, the whole experience has been very disappointing. When we first viewed the car, there was a strong smell inside the cabin, similar to a dog odour. The salesperson told us the smell would be removed. Two days later, when we returned to check the car again, we were told the vehicle was still being cleaned and had not yet arrived back at the dealership. When it finally came back, the seats still felt damp and the smell had not fully gone. We were told it would disappear in a day or two. Later, we discovered that all the floor mats were missing. We immediately called the company, and several staff members—including the salesperson and a manager—promised that the mats would be arranged and sent to our home. After many phone calls and follow‑ups over more than a month, nothing has been done. I chose Cartime because I believed it was a reputable company, but this experience has made me lose confidence. I am very disappointed with the lack of responsibility shown by the salesperson and the poor after‑sales service. At this point, I only hope to receive the floor mats that should have come with the car, so that my trust in the company can be restored.
