Recently bought a seat Ibiza 1.2 tsi FR. After checking out the car the car ran fine and was in ok condition. 60 miles back home the car broke down and I had to wait 5 hours for a tow truck from the RAC warranty provided… after getting it back home and towed to the RAC approved garage in Birmingham they said the car had an electrical fault, misfire issues and sent me out a paper full of issues (around 20 issues) the car has had after multiple days of waiting. The cars faults were not covered under the warranty and I had to fix it myself. After talking to the owner of Cars2U he was nice enough to cover the costs parts for the repair or I’d send the car back to him. Overall a bunch of wasted time mostly coming from the RAC garage. But also the drive back home. Great communication and problems solved by the owner of Cars2U. Remember to always bring a mechanic with you and don’t let the RAC warranty work on your car!
Brought a Ford cmax from them 17th March 2024. Can’t find any fault with the dealership, car was presented nice and clean with service and fresh MOT the owner was a top guy very helpful and just all round nice to chat to. Let me know when you have a Range Rover for sale \U0001f44c Thank you again
Update September 2020: I have noticed the red Jag (EX56 RXY) up for sale again without mentioning the noticeable fault, so hopefully they have fixed it by now. Visited Cars2U to purchase a Jag. Put deposit down May 2020. Test drove the car and there was a 'knocking' sound upon sudden acceleration. Left this with the dealership and they assured me it will be sorted before pickup. Communication wasn't the best on numerous occasions. I was told I would be called on a specific day, then I wouldn't hear back. I or a relative would call only to be told to wait for the mechanic, they cannot be rushed, they are working flat out with other jobs. Any sort of update *at all* would have been much appreciated. I waited 2 weeks without knowing, only to hear that the cause of the Jag's 'knock' cannot be found or repaired. They said they replaced numerous 'bushes' however the noise continued. The dealership then offered a significant reduction in price off the car. They then offered the \xa3100 deposit back as I did not want to continue. Communication needs improvement. Any sort of update about the Jag would have been appreciated, even just to say they'll call back with a more detailed update from the mechanic at a certain date.
