I financed a jeep from this place back in September 2025 and had nothing but problems, abuse over the phone shouting and swearing at me. They declined an inspection 3rd party even though I had already paid for one that ZUTO told me I needed to do. I also had an MOT from the same garage that carried out the inspection and it failed for dangerous defects do not drive. they declined the inspection that ZUTO told them they needed to do and Recovered the car to fix it and expected me to travel 92 miles to go and pick it up, and because I couldnt they DEMANDED that I pay for private storage. They failed the repairs massively, I got no proof of any repairs, they’re a dealership not a mechanic garage so there would definitely be some paperwork somewhere. It failed another MOT for Major defects for the same thing they were meant to fix. I had only driven the car just over 3k miles, the breaks were metal on metal, I honestly don’t know how I didn’t kill myself or another road user. The battery had so many problems I put a new one on myself, it wouldn’t have mattered how many new battery I put on it because there are NO BATTERY CLAMPS! Yet somehow this is my fault. AVOID AVOID ACOID!! Cars been off the road since 10th Feb and there’s literally nothing I can do about it.
I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from Blue Sky Motors to be extremely cautious. I bought my Mazda approximately a year ago and have dealt with recurring faults ever since, including excessive smoke and an SCBS Forward Malfunction which made me anxious to drive the car, particularly on motorways. On one journey to Brighton alone it malfunctioned approximately 25–30 times. I first returned the car to Blue Sky after just 37 days. They jet-washed the exhaust and advised me to use DPF cleaner, but this did not resolve the underlying problem. I then paid for a new battery, took the car to Mazda themselves and also to an independent garage trying to establish what was wrong. Eventually, a piece of metal from what appeared to be a drinks can was discovered inside the EGR pipe. I cannot prove who put it there or when, but understandably this has left me with serious questions about the vehicle's history before it was sold to me. I am now approximately 10 weeks into trying to reject the car. An independent ACE engineer inspected it and produced a report supporting my position. Blue Sky were allowed to question that report, their questions were put back to the engineer and answered, and the engineer specifically confirmed a FAILED REPAIR because the underlying issue had not been identified or rectified. Last week Blue Sky offered further repairs, which I declined after everything that has happened. They are now requesting their own independent review. After 10 weeks, I cannot understand why this wasn't requested much earlier. Even my finance company questioned the timing. The personal impact has been enormous. I am disabled and have been without a usable car for around 10 weeks. I am also a mobile hairdresser, so this has affected my ability to work while I continue paying finance, hire-car and public-transport costs. I have had to rely on credit cards and the stress has significantly affected my mental and physical health. Next week I am travelling to Santorini with my family to scatter my dad's ashes and desperately do not want to still be dealing with this while we're away. I have an approved replacement vehicle physically sitting at Volkswagen waiting for me, but the finance is time-limited and these continued delays now put that deal at risk. After a year of problems, returning the car after 37 days, multiple investigations, an independent report and 10 weeks trying to reject it, I genuinely don't know what more I can reasonably be expected to do. I simply want the car returned, my finance ended and the opportunity to move on. Unfortunately, I could not recommend Blue Sky Motors based on my experience.
I spoke to this company about part-exchanging my 2016 Fiesta ST with full service history and around 74,000 miles. They offered me three thousand two hundred fifty pounds, which felt like a complete lowball. I work in the motor trade and have dealt with part-exchanges before, so I understand prep costs and margins. Even so, I'd already spoken to several dealers and had offers between four thousand five hundred and five thousand pounds. No one else came close to three two fifty. After I left a one-star review, I got a call the next day while I was at work. The person on the phone came across as confrontational, challenging me about things like prep cost warranty etc I understand dealers have overheads, but there's a difference between a fair offer and way below market. What disappointed me most wasn't just the valuation it was receiving that kind of call after leaving an honest review.
How can you sell me a car with so many problems? They used my gender and age to basically mug me off and sell me a piece of trash. When I told them on arrival that the tpms was constantly going off, they told me that it was just pumped and it will change later. They showed me them pumping it again. I turned the car on and off but it didn’t change. They were adamant and insisting that it would change. This wasn’t on the listing at all that there were any problems. I was promised all the cars paperwork and a set another set of keys will arrive to me in a couple of weeks. After a couple of weeks nothing. I kept calling and texting and they just kept extending the time for MONTHS till I got nothing and gave up asking. At least be truthful if you don’t have it and don’t lie or take the mick out of me. I then realised when I left that the indicator was constantly flashing and it popped up on the dash that the rear passenger side lights were not working. When I checked, nothing side fuses were blown. The side that was flashing was completely burnt. I had enough and called and they basically said nothing they could do I could come down for them to have a look but if you gave me the car in such a state then why would I trust you to even fix it. I took it somewhere else where they told me a whole list of problems that it had. And jobs that were incorrectly done or done on a budget. Bolts missing, things taped up. So much more I can say. I’m so disappointed. Got left with this car that has so much problems that I have to pay for. It’s unfair.
When you first get there they are all nice and professional, wait until you buy their damaged cars and return it. If you value your money, time and safety in a car run away from buying cars with them l had a terrible experience, they sold me a vehicle they knew very well had a serious engine fault and lied to me. Purchased through finance they where claiming \xa33000 from my refund for damages that didn't exist. At least be honest on the condition of the car they will string you along attempting to fix the fault just so you exceed 6 months where you can't return the vehicle.
