STAY AWAY! Trust me, don’t waste your time! After a 7 hour round trip, 400+ miles and let’s not get into fuel costs etc just to be wasted by a shocking display of what was a ‘perfect car’. I phoned up enquiring about a 67 plate Ford Focus ST-2 TDCI and I got through to Jamie where - actually this is the best part - was nice over the phone answering any question being very helpful etc. I requested a walk around video which I received as im 3.5 hrs away each way, I needed to make sure it’s worth my while viewing with the intention to drive away. The video sent showed the cars good bits, not it’s bad bits - now after viewing in person these were intentionally not shown and detailed! When I arrive, Harry shows me the car which I immediately was questioning the condition of. The front splitter was cracked and grazed, the bumper and headlight was misaligned and bonnet warped as if it’s been in a front end knock but I was told nothing or shown nothing about this, the purpose of a video is to show both it’s good and bad bits, this wasn’t the case. Furthermore, the gearknob looks as if wolverine has been handling it, same with the steering wheel and the seats (yellow to colour match exterior colour a black leather) may have well have been fully black especially on the drivers seat and you could fall out the door side the seat as the bolster has fallen and the fabric sagging! Still going! The drivers side rear bumper where meets the body has many scuffs along the paint work in the join, and more paint loss in the tailgate recess on the roof. I could keep going but the worst of it, I was promised work has been carried out to rectify previous mot advisory’s and had been done recently, until I find the invoice is over a year old and some of the bits still haven’t been done including lower arm bushes etc but, get this, no advisories on this new MOT! Dodgy much! Supposedly cambelt just changed although coolant is on or below minimum \U0001f928 I hate to leave negative reviews especially on family run businesses but these Cowboys at BJH shouldn’t be selling cars especially of high value too. This focus for context has 88k on a 67 plate, harry states this is due to its age and mileage. I’ve seen focus st’s with 180k on 2015 and they look much better than this! \xa39000 they want for this, if your looking to buy this car, think again - reg for context is: WJ67 RVA, not the reg that’s on all paperwork in folder either, some were a 68 plate reg which can’t be for this vehicle. Please trust me whether you’re a mile down the road or 200 miles away, go somewhere else, keep looking for your perfect car because it isn’t at BJH. Hopefully I can save you the hours, the money, the heartache, that I had to spend.
I had an amazing experience at this dealership! Harry went above and beyond to help me find the perfect car, and I couldn’t be happier driving home in my Golf R. He was knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. If you’re looking for great customer service and someone who really cares about getting you the right car, ask for Harry. Highly recommend! \U0001f697⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I picked up a gorgeous Mercedes today and I am over the moon with the service I received from start to finish! All of the team were incredibly helpful and made the buying experience extremely smooth. The car was immaculate when I picked it up and I cannot thank everyone enough! I would 100% recommend buying a car from BJH Motors!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently bought a car from this family business, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Harry was very professional, and the whole team went above and beyond to make sure the car was ready early for me. They carried out an MOT and service before collection, and even picked me up from the hire car place to save me the walk, such a thoughtful touch! I’ve never bought from a family-run business before, but they were so friendly and made me feel completely at ease, explaining everything clearly despite my limited car knowledge. I’m absolutely delighted with my purchase and the service I received. I’d 100% recommend them to my family and friends and would definitely buy from them again. Top-class service, one very happy customer! \U0001f697\U0001f44fThank you. \U0001f929
Just purchased a new car today and I honestly couldn’t be happier! Harry guided me through the whole process and managed to secure my favourite car from all the ones we looked at awaiting auction. It had all the features I wanted in that model and met my budget. They made sure the MOT was up to date and that the car was in perfect condition before kindly delivering it to my house. They even managed to squeeze in an appointment to have the wheels refurbished on the same day of purchase to save me the hassle of arranging an appointment around my work schedule. It’s a nice upgrade from my previous car, and it’s been really reassuring to know I can reach out to them with any questions as I (slowly but surely) get to grips with all the new and exciting features! Thank you Harry and John for making the process of buying a new car as quick and stress free as possible :)

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a MK7 Golf GTI from BJH Motors and Sons. When I went to collect the car, Harry mentioned the 6-month warranty, and I told him I already had one through my finance company. He replied, “Oh okay, I’ll leave our warranty off — it saves the family business \xa3500, you don’t need two.” That immediately raised concerns, as the warranty was supposed to be included in the sale. Harry also mentioned that they’ve sold quite a lot of modified cars, but miraculously they “knew nothing” about this one, despite it being clearly ragged around. I later spoke to Jamie on the phone, but the situation has not been resolved satisfactorily. Within less than 30 minutes of driving, multiple warning lights appeared, including the EPC light, ACC light, and a cornering lights fault. The car itself was not as described: it came with an aftermarket exhaust and back box delete, a chipped and cracked windscreen, and only one speaker working. When I raised these issues with Harry, I was advised to claim through my insurance for the windscreen and to take the car to a “VAT-registered garage” for the other faults. A few days later, I was suddenly offered to bring the car back — but by then, I had already arranged for an independent inspection. And also the car came with no lock and wheel nut just normal bolts meaning anyone could just take my wheels off. And the excuse I have got it about my warranty not covering me for parts if I go to maintenance dealer Volkswagen and that I was then told Jamie “should have told you this”. The inspection revealed an oil leak and multiple other mechanical faults, many of which should have appeared as advisories on the MOT but didn’t. The MOT supplied by the dealer showed no advisories at all, raising serious questions about its validity. When a diagnostic reader was connected, it flagged 42 separate issues — completely unacceptable for a car that had supposedly just passed an MOT and service. When I spoke to Jamie on the phone, he said, “Please do me the favour and let us sort it for you,” and offered a Honda Jazz as a courtesy car, which isn’t like-for-like. I’m not “doing favours” when I’ve been sold a car in this condition. Also to mention I was told that I had to wait for the car to also be serviced which delayed me again getting the car to find out that the car hasn’t even been serviced since 2022 in the service book and also the service light coming on stating oil service. As well as oil being leaked over my drive I have since chosen to handle everything through my finance company and warranty provider, as I no longer trust this dealership. I also still haven’t received written confirmation that the finance on my part-exchanged car has been fully settled, even though that car is already being advertised for sale. Overall, I feel I’ve been completely mis-sold and very poorly treated. I would not recommend BJH Motors and Sons at all and will be leaving an honest review to ensure other buyers are aware before purchasing
