Recently when I went to drive my Bentley to meet my lawyers office in Chelmsford a red warning light appeared on the display screen following my meeting I called into Bentley Essex to see if they could address the problem I was greeted at reception by the smiling face of Stephanie who immediately offered me a coffee then proceeded to contact the technician and explain my problem within 30 minutes my problem was resolved and I was able to get on with my day , in these days of indifferent customer service it\u2019s is refreshing to come across Old Fashioned Customer Care N J Cornforth

5 Stars !! From initial contact to order then to handover !! Superb x I honestly wish i could give 10 stars !! Even kept the business open for an additional 2 hours as I was caught on M25 for 4 hours !! I can not praise the team enough, even the head of business waited for us to arrive !! Absolutely Love my new Bentley GT !!! And can not Thank You Enough !! Phil & Team !!
Purchased a Bentley, intial contact was great, the Salesman Sully was very informative. On collection, that\u2019s when things started to go down hill. The vehicle was outside in the rain, so any inspection was pointless. The vehicle had just been serviced and MOT had just been done. Once I got home after ( 3 hour journey ) the car was dry, I noticed the paintwork was covered in light scratches and swirls and had been polished in some blue polish, in an effort to hide the scratches. I also noticed the screen had a chip in it, which wasn\u2019t mentioned on the Mot. Also the brakes were squeaking the whole time. I mentioned the points to the salesman on the following working day. They suggested I bring the car back (6 hour round trip) for them to inspect. The chip they said could have happened any time, and the brakes will \u2018clear up\u2019 with use. After much negotiation they did pay towards a machine polish. The windscreen I had to repair at my own cost. The brakes have continued to squeak. I have taken the car to my local Bentley dealership who has informed me the they will all need replacing due to corrosion from it being standing previously, they also informed me this would have been present at point of MOT and sale. The Salesman has since left the company, and I have emailed the sales manager Phil Hamberger 6 times, and he is yet to reply, I have also left a message for him to call and still he hasn\u2019t, hence finally having to leave a review, which I do with hesitation. I would not want anyone else to treated so poorly by a dealership. As with other reviews who have said the same, once they have your money they are not interested all. No common courtesy as to even reply to an email. Very poor show Bentley Chelmsford. If you are planning to buy a Bentley, I suggest you go elsewhere, where you are valued as a customer. I will be replacing my Bentley and will not be going back to Chelmsford. On a positive note, the service advisor Catherine was very helpful.
