Having bought a brand new Jeep Compass from them in Perth (our third Jeep) and after paying £610 for an annual service, the car broke down going home! It has been with them now for two weeks and still not repaired. Their service department, after a visit today, told me it could be another two weeks or even more and that we are in a queue for repair . A very "take it or leave it" attitude. My advice is therefore if you want to buy a Jeep GO ELSEWHERE as they are excellent at selling them but couldn't care less about their customers afterwards!

As a returning buyer who has previously had positive experiences with Arnold Clark, I am disappointed by the rigid pricing logic encountered during my recent attempt to purchase a 2019 Seat Arona (AU19 PWE) at the Bolton branch. Despite the "Best Deal Guarantee" branding, the vehicle was priced at £9,498, which sits notably above the standard retail value of ~£9,100. While I appreciate the dealership's efforts to prep the car, the pricing doesn't quite align with the reality of a vehicle with 3 previous owners and a gap in its early service history. The most frustrating part of the experience was being told the "Best Deal Guarantee" was excluded because the car falls into the "Value Range." It is a confusing contradiction to label a car as "Value" to bypass a price-match promise, while simultaneously pricing it at a premium. Adding to the frustration, an exact match on spec—which was actually a newer model—was found locally just 3 miles away for £8,990. As a loyal customer, I expected a more transparent approach to valuation. Using a "Value" label as a shield against a price-match guarantee, while holding firm on a premium price point despite local competition being significantly cheaper, is a poor reflection of the brand's "Best Deal Guarantee."
I had a great experience buying my car from Arnold Clark. It’s always a bit of a mine field when purchasing a new car but the choice of vehicles , the condition and also I feel value for money were the key things Arnold Clark offered. There was no waiting either. I picked up my car on the same day and have been so happy with my purchase.
