My consultant was great they listened and put together a few options with no wasted time. They got up early to collect car and deliver it to me in good time. Paul Pitblado in Glenrothes is the person you want to speak with if you want to get in and out with no wasted time and get what you need for your purposes,
I've just had my MG HS 2nd service carried out by Arnold Clark, What a complete rip off, either by AC or MG. It took them 2hours to do and cost me £332.60 labour costs, total bill, £505.33. It's about time there was a regulatory body or ombudsman to review these rip off labour costs. I should have went elsewhere,but they also black mail you about the vehicle warranty being jeopardised if you go elsewhere,other than Arnold Clark. I would like to know who is reaping the huge profits, I bet it's not the vehicle technician
Sales consultants very helpful, however had to sit for 4.5 hours in the showroom waiting for my car. Left without car key case I asked before arrival as they didn’t have any in store. Paperwork submitted as Mr instead of Mrs which apparently caused the delay. I drive 4 hours to collect the car and no one called en route to let me know of the delay.
We bought a brand new Hyundai Tucson with a 3 year Service Package and they did stamp the book but the DID NOT service the car. Not ONCE. There was a "Service Campaign" on the car - a Recall to be completed when the car was in for service - and they had the car in for service TWICE and neither serviced the car nor completed the "Service Campaign" replacement of a Pulley Arm. Unsurprisingly, the Pulley Arm failed and blew up my engine. I had my car recovered to another Hyundai dealer and their Service Manager called me to ask if my car had EVER been serviced and he described the oil in my sump as "sludge'. He reported this to Hyundai UK and expressed to them that, in his professional opinion, the car has NEVER been serviced. Arnold Clark's reply? If we stamped it, we serviced it. Complete and utter nonsense. Take a look at the Arnold Clark Facebook Complaints page and you'll see that they have a strong reputation for taking the cash yet not doing the servicing, even with their own STAFF! Arnold Clark wanted NOTHING to do with my complaint and took absolutely no responsibility for it at all. IF you buy a car from them, do yourself a favour and get the car serviced at a reputable local garage using genuine manufacturer parts and definitely do NOT take the service plan. Absolutely shocking Customer Service and there are plenty of other options from dealers that will genuinely value your business and complete the work you pay for, Arnold Clark will take your money but that will not guarantee they will do the work. IF you do have your car in for service with them, I'd strongly recommend that you mark up your filters and check that they have been replaced when you collect the vehicle.
Bought a can from Liverpool few months ago delivery was delayed multiple times didn’t receive any phone calls from branch was also promised a refund of me having to reinsure my van still not received also no owners manuals with van have sent complaint and no one bothered to get back to me
