I ordered car from AC in Feb 2026 as my second choice. Mainly ordered with cars2 omoda from Wakefield and their customer service is as horrible even manager was nasty. Then i met someone at AC and journey from that point was smooth. Kept me informed at all stages from ordering to delivery.
My experience with Arnold Clark was excellent from beginning to end. Kevin and Laura provided outstanding customer service throughout the whole process. They were friendly, approachable, and always happy to help with any questions I had. Communication was clear and consistent, which made everything feel straightforward and stress-free. When I collected the car, it was presented in fantastic condition — clean, well prepared, and exactly as described. The handover process was smooth, professional, and thorough, with everything explained clearly. The after-sales support has also been excellent, which really added confidence to the overall experience. I would happily recommend Arnold Clark to others based on the service I received.
Arnold clark certainly have two stars in their Cumbernauld Branch .. manager .. Stuart Di Lillo and product consultant Daniel Kimmett ! They couldn’t have been more helpful and professional during the whole process involved in buying our new car . They are both perfect Ambassadors for Arnold Clark .. nothing was a problem for them and they made the whole process stress free and seamless . Would highly recommend Arnold Clark to friends and family because of the great service we received from these two employees ! Well done Mr n Mrs Morrison
Went to my newcastle under lyme branch to look for a newish used car. The salesman(Simon) showed me a ford puma 2023 and said he could have it shipped down for a test drive. I agreed and paid £250 deposit. The salesman also said they would give me an extra £500 for my old car. He went away and said we will give you £550. I said, " that means my car is worth £50. "Yes", he said. I said I would try and get more for it elsewhere.The next day at work I received a phonecall from arnold clark insurance. The guy said, " you have bought a ford puma from us and I would like to insure it. I said," I havent bought anything yet" and put the phone down. 3 days later the salesman texted me and said " how much tax to I require for my car 6 or 12 months. I texted back I will let you know when I have come to the branch and test drove he car. I was absolutely livid. He assumed I had already bought the car before test driving it. Later that day I went to the branch told him I didnt want to test drive anything and asked for my money back. The next day I went to Barlow motors and bought and car from them. They were wonderful, no pressure to buy and just left me to make my mind up. The service was so good I immediately bought the car. Guess what, they also gave me much more for my old car without the Arnold Clark extra £500 gimmick. I will never use Arnold Clark again.
